Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Hyper-Interfacial Bonded Joints of Ultra-Fine Grained High Strength Steels Kazutoshi Nishimoto1, Kazuyoshi Saida2 and Boyoung Jeong3 1 Department of Manufacturing Science, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University 2-1 Yamada-oka, Suita, Osaka 565-0871 Japan, nisimoto@mapse.eng.osaka-u.ac.jp 2 ibid., saida@mapse.eng.osaka-u.ac.jp 3 ibid., boyoung@mapse.eng.osaka-u.ac.jp Keywords : Hyper-interfacial bonding, Fusion welding, Ultra-fine grained steels, Microstructure, Hardening/softening, Grain growth, Tensile properties, Impact absorbed energy Abstract.
On the other hand, from a practical viewpoint, welding and joining techniques for the UFG steel are indispensable for being used it as structural materials.
However, the material properties of the heat affected zone (HAZ) in the UFG steel weldment fall down less than the base metal due to the grain growth and softening by weld heat input.
Materials and experimental procedures The chemical composition of the UFG steel used in this study is shown in Table 1.

Nanocarbon materials possess the characteristics of carbon-based materials, as well as a unique quantum size effect, edge effect, fluorescence effect, and other properties.
As a result, nanocarbon materials have a high potential growth in electrochemical energy storage materials.
There are different materials which showed PL at different wavelengths.
Electrode materials played a significant role in conducting electricity.

The FE analysis indicates the reason is the negative correlation between the modulus of elasticity of the material and temperature. 2) The varying amplitude of the CSB’s modal frequencies at certain temperature changes are influenced by longitudinal restraints at the deck’s ends, in the other words, the boundary conditions.
