Introduction Wide application of nanomaterials in various business areas results in higher production volumes of such materials and massive transfer of nanomaterials into water bodies that are final receivers of biota-polluting substances.
Algae growth inhibition and reduction by 50 % (EC50) were shown after 72 hours in contact with NPs CeO2 (10.3±1.7 mg/l) and micron size materials (66±22 mg/l).

The major challenge with this approach is the calculation of water-equivalent dose in the EPID level since EPID is composed of high-atomic number materials, making it a non-water equivalent detector.
For soft tissues and water-equivalent materials, Compton scattering predominates at intermediate-energy photon beams which are conventionally used in radiotherapy applications.
As the produced charged particles leave the interaction site, they immediately begin to transfer their energy to the surrounding materials.
Materials and Methods A virtual set-up shown in Fig. 1 was implemented in GATE v9.0 (Geant4 application for tomographic emission) toolkit, employing the standard electromagnetic processes [15].

So biopesticides can be interpreted as all biological materials, whether in the form of plants, animals, microbes, or protozoa that can be used to destroy pests and causes of disease in humans, animals and plants.
In addition to these materials, the EPA also includes. 5.
Genetically engineered plants (plant-incorporatedprotectant), which can produce materials (proteins) that are toxic to pests, such as the Bt gene from the bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis.

Radon (222Rn) and thoron (220Rn) gases enter into the indoor air through exhalation from soil and building materials used in walls, floors and ceilings [7].
Materials and Methods 2.1.
Selection of house and deployment protocol: Radon level in an environment depends upon several factors such as geology of the location (such as hilly, fault, mineralization), environmental conditions (cold, hot, ventilated, dust level), type of house (Mud, Thatch, Bamboo, Modern), type of building materials used in the house and closing/opening period of door/window (i.e. living style).

In the equivalent circuit, the value of R1 represented the resistance of the solution; the polarization resistance R2 is a measure of corrosion resistance of the material in the environment; a constant phase element (CPE) was used in the equivalent circuit instead of a capacitance because often the measured capacitance is not ideal.
