Research Progress on Preparation Methods of PMIA Fiber

The strong interactions between hydrogen bonds result in a very stable chemical structure of PMIA.
In this paper, the structure character of molecular chain and performance of PMIA have been introduced.
They have similar structures while their performance differences are great.
The crystalline structure of PMIA belongs to triclinic system, and the dihedral angle of phenylene rings is 30°from amide plane, which is a very stable structure under current intra molecular interactions.
