Abstract: Additional power head with common milling machine.Two and a half axis CNC system are used for CNC grinding circular surface curve trajectory. The advantages of this processing method are: We can avoid the influence on processing of lead screw clearance because of changing the parts clamping position,effectively ensure the integrity of the great circle arc curve trajectory. Because of using digital control technology in grinding process is instantaneous automatic compensation of grinding wheel wear, the machining accuracy of parts in outline is improved, the machining error is decreased. it will effectively ensure the consistency of the large circle curve precision.This method has the effect of infer other things from one fact for CNC grinding of large circular arc curve parts. Broaden the scope of application of CNC technology and practical.

Abstract: Abstract: numerical control system is used to control the gear hob and gear blank in autorotation and linkage generative movement, to realize the machining of teeth shape and teeth dividing; and at the same time it controls the vertical displacement of the gear hob and the horizontal displacement of gear blank, to make a circular arc track whose radius is the sum of gear blank’s radius and gear hob’s radius, thus realizing the NC machining of circular-arc aligned gear. Before and after the machining of teeth form, transition arc is used to finish the trimming and thinning of the teeth thickness at the teeth end; on the prerequisite of machining the circular-arc aligned gear, this method successfully solves the puzzle of gear chamfering, and discharges all gear burr into the lower end of the teeth. The advantage of this machining method lies in that when the hob cuts deeper, as the both side-blades are cutting the work-piece at the same time, the thinning on both sides are quite symmetrical, and the fine symmetry remains during the uniform change of the teeth thickness. So, the machining precision of the parts is prior to the requirements in the drawing, and this method yields good effect, which broadens the application of NC technology.

Abstract: Numerical control milling machine with a special transformation can be achieved the involute path processing functions. By using Fan method to process a way to synthesize involute track requirements and involute contour processing. This method is particularly suitable for gear modulus m ≥ 12 ~ 40 of the big modulus gear machining, and omit the big modulus gear-specific complex tool manufacturing. Another advantage is that as the basic parameters of the coordinates programming trajectory calculation as a way to carry out involute trajectories run control, gears accuracy can be effective control and assurance. Furthermore, it can be revised and the edge of the involute tooth surface in the tangential connection.

Abstract: The special section tube was machined by special NC reconstruction according to constituents of rolling motion. The rotation of driving and driven roller was controlled directly by servo motors and the rolling machining was controlled by converting linear motion into rotary motion. The principle, control and implementation and the analysis of the bending deformation regularity and influencing factors affecting the uniformly accelerated motion and measures were elaborated. The structural reconstruction and the parameters conversion and the reason why the machining accuracy improved were analysizedanalyzed. The NC reconstruction in rolling machining of the special section tube had good effects on the practical application and the function and application scope of NC technology were expanded

Abstract: The paper discusses the NC polishing and NC repairing of the arc surface with an ultra-large radius of the paper machine’s press roll. It is very difficult to polish and repair press rolls whose radius is up to several thousands of meters because it is quite beyond the range which a NC system permits. The special NC reconstruction of a machine tool and its principle and method were elaborated. In an example the accuracy of parameters conversion was calculated and related formulas were derived, and also the methods of eliminating errors and the measures to compensate errors were discussed. In view of the abrasion of the grinding (or polishing) wheel, the measure for instantaneous automatic compensation was discussed.

Abstract: The design of NC reconstruction of a machine tool and the parameters conversion are elaborated by means of an example of sphere grinding using a common grinding machine which has been reconstructed by special NC technologies. The grinding of a large size sphere is realized by using the linear instruction. The variable speed rotary grinding of a large size sphere is realized by using the arc instruction. The instantaneous compensation of the grinding wheel is realized by using the screw instruction. The function and application scope of NC technology are expanded because of variable speed rotary motion and instantaneous compensation of the grinding wheel.

The grinding and polish-grinding were performed by using two NC systems in series to achieve multi-axis movement. The function and application scope of NC technology were expanded because the instantaneous compensation of the grinding wheel and the polish-grinding wheel were performed under a rectangular coordinate system and a polar coordinate system by using an open loop NC system. The application of surface recovery of grinding wheel by NC reconstruction and extension applications of processing the track of involute curve were referred.

Abstract: One of the significant features of CNC technological superiority is in the practical applications, according to the necessary movement of processed parts required, we can use generating method to transform CNC machine tools and receive the desired results. This article discussed under the premise that lack of special equipment, transforming ordinary horizontal CNC milling to machine worm gear. The advantage of this numerical transformation approach is using the processing functions of thread and tapered thread instruction, skillfully translating into control of the CNC machining worm, expanding the CNC machining capabilities and the scope of practical application. Also apply the advantages of CNC technology, reduce or eliminate the accumulation of worm in the processing of pitch error which makes the worm processing precision and smoothness of worm drive better. This paper discussed the principles of numerical control transformation, transformation of milling machine structure and the conversion calculation of parameters in programming, analyzed the causes and processing effects of worm gear processing errors control and accuracy improving.
