This International Conference was virtually held on November 26-28, 2021.
The main objective was to bring together engineers, industrial experts, and academics to share and exchange their research results and experiences related to their fields. This conference was also used as the platform for networking and the creation of collaboration and presents the results of the research in materials science and materials processing technologies analysis.
The research results and engineering solutions collected in this book will be helpful to machinery, chemical production, and energy conversion specialists.
This volume contains the full-length versions of plenary lectures and oral presentations presented at the Broad Exposure to Science and Technology (BEST 2021) conference, held by the Engineering Faculty of Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Indonesia, virtually on August 31, 2021. The collected papers focus on researching properties and materials synthesis technologies, the development of functional coatings and surface treatment processes, and the analysis of features of structural metals and alloys.
This volume presents papers from the 3rd Postgraduate Symposium on Industrial Science and Technology (SISTEC 2021, 25-26 August 2021, online, Malaysia). This collection contains engineering research results on materials science and materials processing technology.
In this volume of "International Journal of Engineering Research in Africa" are included peer-reviewed manuscripts reflecting the research results in materials processing and corrosion protection, fluid mechanics, power engineering, microgrid, and power electronics, wastewater and water treatment, irrigation, building materials, and system for the automation product design. The presented scientific articles can be appreciated by the majority of engineers, academic teachers, and students majoring in the fields of engineering science.
The special issue entitled “Transfer Phenomena in Fluid and Heat Flows XIII” of Defect and Diffusion Forum continues a series of themed volumes and presents a collection of works associated with heat transfer and fluid flow phenomena. These topics can be understood in a wider sense as classical diffusion-related topics. The continuous need for improved machines and higher efficiencies and more detailed and accurate theoretical modeling approaches makes it necessary to showcase the latest trends on a regular basis with small intervals between the different volumes in this topical series.
