Review from Ringgold Inc., ProtoView:
This volume collects 59 selected papers from the July 2010 International Conference on Structural Integrity and Failure, organized by the Australian Fracture Group and hosted at the School of Engineering at the U. of Auckland in New Zealand. The conference brought together Pacific region researchers in fracture, fatigue, and structural integrity in order to present state-of-the-art findings dealing with a wide array of materials and structures, including biological tissues, metals, ceramics, polymers, composites, and thin film. The papers have been organized into sections focusing on: fracture, fatigue, damage, and failure; structural integrity and failure analysis; bio and nano-materials; indentation, thin film, surface treatment, and materials processing; and polymers and composites.
