Abstract: The experimental investigation of process characteristics while performing micro-milling on hybrid aluminium metal matrix composite is discussed in this article. High Speed Steel micro end mill cutters are used for machining of micro-slots on Al6063 metal matrix composite reinforced with zirconia and silicon carbide. The tools are also treated cryogenically at -196°C using liquid nitrogen with a holding time of 24 hours. For this investigation, machining parameters like feed rate, cutting speed and depth of cut are considered as the process parameters. The effect of the process parameters on the material removal rate and surface roughness for hybrid metal matrix composite are analyzed. In addition, tools wear for untreated and cryo-treated single tempered tools are also investigated. The output responses i.e., material removal rate and surface roughness of cryo-treated tools exhibit better results than untreated tool due to increase in strength, hardness and wear resistance.

Abstract: Fatigue plays a significant role in the crack growth of the fuselage skin structures. In addition, the fuselage may suffer also from the corrosion damage, and the wear defects. The proper maintenance and scheduled test intervals can avoid the sudden skin failure. Therefore, the inspection interval has to be shortened. Nevertheless, the young machines may be also suffering from the unexpected skin rupture. The cracks are emanating from the rivets and the holes under cyclic loading. The stress concentration around the notch has an effective role under the effect of cyclic loading. The cracks propagate toward the high stressed area such as the notches or other crack locations. The propagation into a critical crack size is rather fast and causes a sudden aircraft fuselage cracking. Hence, the number of cycles to failure will be decreased dramatically. During the last decades, the fracture toughness, design, and the new alloying element have been enhanced. The previous fuselage failures show that the inspections against the cracking are recommended even after a few thousand of cycles. To prevent the crack extending, the crack arresting is recommended to use around the fuselage.

Abstract: Quality of water from surface water source – Karachunovskyi reservoir for a long period of observation during (1965-1979), (1980-1990), (1991-2001), (2002-2012) years was studied. In water taken from Karachunovskyi reservoir was shown negative trend for increasing salt composition, by the content of general rigidity, dry residue, sulfates, chlorides for a long period of observation: from 1965 to 2012 years, which is caused by the systematic discharge of a highly mineralized mine water from the mining enterprises of Kryvyi Rih into Ingulets and Saksagan rivers, and subsequent pollution of Karachunovskyi reservoir – the main source of centralized drinking water supply 94% of the urban population. Generally, salt composition of the water from Karachunovskyi reservoir in some years of observation belonged to the 4th class of danger, i.e. "limited usable, undesirable quality". Characteristic feature of the Kryvorozhska urbanization zone is the presence of priority heavy metals (Mo, Mg, Cd, Ni, Zn, Fe, Cu, Pb, Cr) in water sources, due to the intensive extraction of iron ore. For example, average iron content in 2010 was (0.342±0.003) mg/dm3, which exceeded MPC (0.3 mg/dm3) on 1.14 times. The average content of manganese exceeded the hygienic standard in 2008 (1.42 MPC), in 2009 (1.3 MPC) and in 2010 (1.54 MPC) years, due to a high background content of this chemical element in the environmental facilities of the industrial city, and the annual discharge of highly mineralized mine water into local water sources.

Abstract: The Simulation of Crowd Sensing in Closed Space with the Attenuation Measurement of the Wi-Fi Signal is Proposed here. A Train Car is Used as the Test Environment of Interest. Experimental Validation is Performed for a Certain Range of Input Parameters which Include Permittivity of Human Body, Structure Materials and Sensor Placements. the Simulation Results Show that for all Cases, the Signal Strengths Associated with Masses of Human Body Reduce with Number of Passengers. the Number of Passengers can Be Estimated with Good Accuracy Using Linear Function with the R-Square Value over 0.97 and RMSE Value below 2. the Simulation Results Suggest that the Estimation Accuracy of Number of Passengers will Improve with Higher Number of Passengers and Multiple Transmitters in Neighbor Nodes can Affect the Overall Precision. the Experimental Validation Exhibits the same Trend as that of the Simulation. the Additional Experiment Indicates that the Passenger Body Movement Also has a Considerable Impact on the Estimation Accuracy.

Abstract: In mobile shopping, consumer emotion can be influenced by various stimuli more easily than before. Understanding the methods to stimulate consumer emotions can help companies to push consumers to mobile shopping. However, this has been rarely discussed in the previous studies. By applying ATLAS.ti 7 to conduct three levels coding of interview data and analyze the relationships between different level codes, the qualitative study was used to discuss and identify the factors that influenced consumer emotion in mobile shopping. The study showed that at the social level, mobile technology, convenience and entertainment of mobile shopping, and mobile friends circle influenced all consumer emotions, while sharing of mobile shopping only influenced consumer’s pleasure and arousal emotions. At the organizational level, both interface quality and integrity of mobile sales terminal influenced all consumer emotions, while sales promotion in mobile sales terminal only influenced consumer’s pleasure and arousal emotions. The conclusions can enrich the theories of mobile shopping behavior and consumer emotion.
