Simultaneously Monitoring of Chromatic Dispersion and Polarization Mode Dispersion for DPSK Signal Based on RF Spectrum Analysis

Abstract:

We have demonstrated a method to monitor CD and first order PMD simultaneously of DPSK signal based on the RF spectrum analysis. The monitoring sensitivity can reach 56.7ps/nm/dB and 3.1ps/dB for CD and DGD, respectively.
