Abstract: This paper focuses on the issues of uniform flow distribution control for sewage treatment devices. A novel method for uniform flow distribution was proposed, in which a new type sewage distributor employing two phrase stepper motors is integrated to replace the conventional one. The model of permanent magnet stepper motor is mainly discussed. A proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller is designed for this new type distributor. The performance of general controlled system is simulated, compared by tuning the parameters. And the control system is evaluated in practical use.

Abstract: In order to realize the curve welding seam tracking of welding tractor, the welding tractor driven by two rear wheels is researched in this paper. The control system that a DSP controls two DC brushless motors is designed. It contains the whole system design, hardware circuit and software design. It is designed as a double closed loop system. Experimental results verified the feasibility of the whole system.

Research on MPLS Network Topology Aggregation Algorithm With The Effective Connected Dominating Sets
Abstract: Using dominating set can aggregate the complex physical network topologies into simple virtual topologies and reduce the cost of the networks. In the Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network, the dominating set constructed based on label router can effectively aggregate MPLS network topology and reduce the amount of Label Switching Path (LSP), so as to save the expenses of network maintain information. However, simply considering the size of dominating set can't guarantee the best performance of the networks after aggregating. Therefore, an improved algorithm based on breadth-first search spanning tree is proposed, considering the size of the dominating set, bandwidth performance of the nodes and path length between nodes, which can effectively extend the MPLS network, with excellent bandwidth performance and reduce the data transmission delay.

Abstract: Size accuracy of cylindrical grinding can be improved considerably by using error compensation. However, empty rotating of ball screw resulting from its inverse gap is the most important factor influencing the error compensation performance. In this paper, three grinding experiments were carried out to probe the effects of pretightening force magnitude on diameter accuracy. The experimental results show that too high pretightening force may lead to an excessive frictional resistance and thus reduce the grinding accuracy. For any specific grinding error compensation system, there exists an optimum pretightening force value capable of reaching the minimum grinding error.

Abstract: Research project evaluation is an important part of research management, and there is no unified approach to evaluate research projects.On the basis of the characteristics of complexity and the uncertainty of optimal selection for research projects, grey relational analysis model in research projects selection application has been put forward in this paper. The index system of influencing research projects selection is determined. Application model and procedures of the grey relational analysis method are introduced. According to the degree how close it is with the ideal dot, the optimal project is easy to be selected out. Through the optimization analysis projects selection for research projects, it is proved that the optimal project selection for research projects based on grey relational analysis has the strong recognition judgment ability. It is convenient, quantitative, and strict. It provided a possible new way for evaluation of research projects selecting.

Abstract: A novel torus-involute gear transmission is presented in this paper. There are two types of tooth profiles for torus-involute gears: convex tooth and concave tooth. Torus-involute gears are non-sensitive to axial misalignments and allow variable shaft angle without meshing interference. Based on revealing of essence for tooth profiles, introducing the parameter t and discretizing this type of gear into tiny linear continuous corrected gears, a design method is proposed. To testify whether the transmission ratio of torus-involute gear transmission is constant, simulation is implemented in commercial codes ADAMS. The computed results show that this novel gear drive can achieve a constant transmission ratio with variable shaft angle.

Abstract: It is very important to predict ground settlement and provide effective dada for construction on soft soil foundation. There are several prediction methods.However, back analysis method is identified as the most effective method in all these methods. The most primarily used method in back analysis methods is optimization algorithm. In this paper, to realize accurate prediction and calculation of soft soil foundation settlement, an improved immune genetic algorithm is presented by introducing immune mechanism to genetic algorithm. A example was given and illustrated that this algorithm can greatly improve calculation speed and accuracy in predicting soft soil foundation settlement.

Abstract: Basing on the original mechanical structure of arc-submerging welder for flat fillet seams, this article designs an arc-submerging welder control system for large steel structures flat fillet seams, such as blast furnaces, oil tanks, and so on, and expatiates on the working principle by circuit designing and testing in detail. This control system has been used greatly in DongYing, DaGang and other construction site for large steel structure.
