Abstract: Hangzhou is being made the Internatonal Tourism City , and the Oriental Leisure Capital, owing advantages of long history and natual talent to build an exllent waterfront leisure and recreation space. The all-round protection and development is going back into the public vison of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Hangzhou section with a number of recreation space construction reflecting the canal culture, pleasant and atrrative. This paper put forward a series of construction scheme and management plan for the recreation space based on the research of space development, recreation building, road traffic and other aspects of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Hangzhou section.

Abstract: With the rapid development of Urbanization, China’s urban fringes are faced with a new development background and have new features which are different from the ones the domestic scholars summarized in early years. This document based on a better knowledge of the new development background of urban fringes in Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou Region, concludes two external factors, summarizes features of fringe evolution in an empirical perspective and proposes prospect of future research directions.

Abstract: Using remote sensing(RS) technique, this paper attempts to extract the greenbelt information in city and countryside of Suzhou in 1986, 1998 and 2006.Based on the data statistics of RS, it also analyzes the spatial sequence feature of Suzhou greenbelt ecological network evolving in the process of urban and rural integration from the spatial distribution, quantity change and reducing speed of green space, to provide basic information for greenbelt system planning of urban and rural integration, and foundation for space governance and spatial planning in city and rural area.

Abstract: In Procession of fast Urbanism, At the background of striations of natural condition and land supply shortage, It is the key question which urban size will upgrade and urban structure will change, that Optimizes spatial layout and creates urban features. This paper with case of Yan’an analyses the problem that exists in metropolis spatial layout; then discusses urban planning measures that optimize urban structure to hold compact urban morphology. Finally it sketch out the highlights city "landscape pattern" of the urban space structure optimization strategy.

Abstract: With urban agglomeration of coastal Liaoning province as a case, the paper identifies its spatial revolution process lies in the formation stage which is the second stage of the four stages of urban agglomeration, and concludes the macro spatial pattern of the coastal urban agglomeration in Liaoning province into urban compact district; and the meso-level spatial pattern into metropolitan district. Then it further analyzes the evolving tendency of the two spatial patterns, including mega-city region in the macro level and network city in the meso level.

Abstract: Urban green space is the sole natural carbon sink without energy consumption. Carbon sequestration capability of plant and soil depends on plant species and community structure in some content. In this paper, some studies on screening ornamental plants according to the capability of carbon absorption and sequestration and their impact on soil organic carbon were reviewed. In the whole, these results are not comprehensive and more researches need be explored. Some methods of plant landscape design were put forward, such as multistoried community structure, protection of urban natural vegetation, productive urban landscape and shading or blocking wind for building, which are very effective to filter out ornamental plant with high capability of carbon fixation and to construct rational plant landscape for low-carbon urban green space.

Abstract: Space morphology of Dong villages in northern Guangxi has accumulated a rich history and culture, and there exists a unique style in terms of settlement patterns, spatial structure, geomantic pattern and other aspects. Through the description for space morphology of villages, we will analyze the impact of modern civilization on traditional culture of Dong and its causes, and put forward the concept to promoting cultural heritage of villages through cultural reconstruction, idea renewal, resource management and other measures.

Abstract: With reflection on the spatial morphology continuity of water towns nurtured in the environment of Jiangnan (south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River), the writer analyses, on the basis of analysis of the prototype elements which constitutes the spatial morphology of the water towns, the characteristics and reasons of the spatial morphology evolution of modern towns and finds that it is an operational method to restore the fragmented morphology starting from the archetype elements, thus putting forward the idea of restoring the ecological corridor of water network, integrating folk house architecture and returning the street to a humanity space.
