The Study on Power System Protection Algorithms and Fault Detection Using Model-Based Methodology Based on Structural Analysis

Article Preview

Abstract:

This study presents a model-based methodology based on structural analysis that has the potential of having a technological impact on the design of diagnostic systems for power systems. The methodology utilizes the analytical redundancy inherent in the system structure and provides a strategy for systematic and automatic evaluation of power system topologies with respect to their monitoring (fault detection and isolation) potential.
