Abstract: To identify the process mineralogical properties of kyanite from Heibei so as to provide a mineralogical basis for its chemical composition, mineral constituent, ores texture and structure and so on . The results show that: the kyanite Al2O3 21.50%, SiO2 52.87%, using high intensity magnetic separation —gravity separation— flotation folwsheet. Experiments show that, the grinding fineness of -0.074mm 65%, with strong intensity magnetic separation, magnetic concentrate by shaking the low intensity magnetic separation,we can get magnetite, garnet, biotite and phlogopite four concentrates, strong magnetic ore tailings consolidated by a rocking bed mud thrown first, refined through a coarse fine two shake, shake in after a rough featured a parted, won the 60.38% grade of Kyanite concentrate and 85% grade quartz ore.

Abstract: Slope stability analysis is of great significance in geotechnical engineering, for which there are various research approaches as limit equilibrium analysis, numerical analysis, neural network based analysis, etc. Being one of the modern approaches, slope stability analysis based on GIS rises and develops swiftly. Authors give a brief introduction of the theory, research procedures, new developments and try to make it clear the new trend in slope stability analysis. Finally, the slope stability system which was developed based on GIS is introduced. The system which can analyze slope stability based on data mining including fuzzy clustering analysis, regression analysis, extension evaluation etc has provided with more powerful slope stability functions and is easy to be integrated

Abstract: Combined with the collected mining conditions and geological characteristics of coal mine mined-out areas, this paper analysed the present collapse situation of the coal mine mined-out area, the mechanism and influence of the surrounding environment. It puts forward the comprehensive analysis model considering multiple factors. And corresponding conclusions could provide theoretical guidance for urban planning, construction and sustainable development research.

Abstract: At the self-developed DZL-001 computer control of frozen soil frozen-heave test machine, use artificial freezing method carry out vertical and lateral freezing two modes frost heave test of remoulded clay, each mode test includes under no replenishment and replenishment conditions. Monitor the temperature, moisture and frost heave of frozen soil at different location. Compare the similarities and differences of frost heave characteristics of two modes, master the frost heave characteristics of artificial frozen soil. The results provide a certain guidance and reference meaning to layer sidewall structural design.

Abstract: The progress made in the research on the cumulative deformation forecast models of soft geotechnical material is reviewed in two aspects which from the experience model and the constitutive model. The main problems existed in the current research include: two kinds of calculation models need to be further improved and expanded; researches on soft rock dynamic constitutive models, efficient numerical methods and coupled dynamic constitutive models are very insufficient. The emphasis of further research should be as follows: a series of in-situ measurements should be carried out, the test equipment and method should be improved, the practical and efficient forecast models should be established; the researches on the water-rich soft rock and other special geological conditions under repeated track traffic load should be strengthened; make full use of various analysis theory and efficient means of calculation to improve the theoretical model and calculation method.

Abstract: It is of great significance to estimate the range of saturated ground around leakage pipelines when tunneling near the pipelines. The range of saturated ground can be determined from the distributions of the water content and pore-water pressure in ground around the leakage pipelines. The leakage pipeline being modeled as an injection well, a series of unsteady seepage numerical analysis is performed to understand the effects of the internal water pressure of pipelines on the range of saturated ground surrounding the pipelines, and computation results show the exponential relationship between them. In the unsteady seepage analysis, the hydraulic conductivity function and the volumetric water content function must be determined beforehand to get reasonable results of the range of saturated ground.

Abstract: On the basis of publicized data, the fractal character of pore structure in loess is studied. We have determined fractal characteristic pore radius and discussed the relationship between fractal character values and collapsibility. Results show that there is a good linear relationship between and collapsibility, and fractal dimension can reflect geological age of loess section.

Abstract: Terrestrial laser scanner (TLS) can provide the measurement of a large number of physical points distributed on the observed surface. A fast earthwork calculating method is proposed based on the redundant number of acquired points, which leads to a very accurate and high resolution reconstruction of the observed surfaces. This paper describes the three main steps of the method, namely the acquisition of the earthwork data based on TLS, the pre-processing of point cloud data, the earthwork calculation and accuracy evaluation based on point cloud data. Furthermore, it illustrates the performance of the proposed method with a validation experiment.

Abstract: To measure the applicability of the cement mixing method in the reinforcement of soft clay in Jiaozhou Bay, laboratory test of cement-stabilized soil with different mixture ratio are conducted. We take fly ash as additive and have studied the influences of the cement types, cement content, additive content, soaking time and other factors on the cement-stabilized soil strength under the groundwater soaking condition. This paper demonstrated a link between the above factors and cement-stabilized strength.

Abstract: Flow properties through a single rock fracture are the foundation of researching fluid flow in fractured rock masses. Many researchers at home and abroad are engaging in this subject for the urgent need of engineering practice. This article mainly introduces concepts of roughness, aperture, tortuosity, channeling flow, and influencing factors of stress, temperature, anisotropic, inlet head, scale effect, solution etc. Finally, some research work should be done in future are given.
