Stability Problems of Frequency-Converting Rotation Dynamics on Concrete Mixer

Article Preview

Abstract:

As a number of parameters significantly influence the concrete mixtures quality, the concrete fluidity impacts much on the production process and product quality. To improve the concrete mixtures quality, the concept of frequency-converting rotation is proposed based on the rotation driving dynamic characteristics of mixer. By analysing the phase-frequency characteristic of twin-shaft mixer's working system, the dynamic behavior of mixing concrete is defined. When the agitating shaft is frequency-converting drive, the "boiling" movement occurs in concrete, which characteristics are better than that constant speed drive makes and improves the microscopic homogeneity of concrete.
