Abstract: Aiming at the problem of path planning for a mobile robot, an oriented clonal selection algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the static environment was expressed by a map with nodes and links. Secondly, the locations of target and obstacles were defined. Thirdly, an oriented mutation operator was used to accelerate the evolutionary progress. In this way, we can find an optimal solution with proposed oriented clonal algorithm. Experiment results demonstrate that the algorithm is simple, effective, to solve the problem of robot path planning in a static environment

Abstract: Mistakes often occurs in map matching when road condition is complex, especially there is island ring, or exit and entrance of highway, in vehicle navigation system. Wrong map matching will lead to wrong map display and wrong route guidance, thus system gives a bad impact to driver. In order to solve this problem, this paper includes an improved map matching algorithm based on NDS, which takes curvature and slope into account. This Algorithm coding has been realized by c and proved its availability at last.

Abstract: Based on the concepts of social inclusion, universal design, and accessibility, this paper aims to describe the stages of the development and implementation of a Geographic Information System for the Internet (Web GIS) based on open source (OS) software. The Web GIS developed is called "Accessibility to Campinas Tourist Attractions", which provides information about cultural and natural attractions in Campinas/SP- Brazil, especially for people with disabilities or reduced mobility that prevents access these sites via public and private transportation. The verification of the existence or lack of accessibility equipment at bus stops and parking areas close to tourist attractions relies on current legislation (NBR 9050) that establishes the right to accessibility for disabled people to transportation, local culture, and leisure.

Abstract: The IEEE 802.16 mesh network, which is self-organized and self-configured with multi-hop, is deployed to providing an effective solution for broadband wireless access system. The standard defines the basic scheduling scheme, but doesn’t specify the resource allocation and routing scheme in the protocol. Therefore, designing a reasonable scheduling and routing algorithm to enhance the capability is very important for the system. In this paper, we propose an efficient and practical routing algorithm which takes the channel condition and modulation mode into consideration in an IEEE 802.16 mesh network. Furthermore, our algorithm enables direct communications between subscriber stations without referring to the base station. Simulation results show that our algorithm effectively improved the scheduling length, delay and system throughput.

Abstract: Smart houses are currently gaining in the development of smart systems. One of the development areas are smart systems for handicapped people. This article is devoted to handicapped inhabitants of smart house with Alzheimer's disease associated with dementia. It compares the stability of a healthy person with handicapped inhabitant, under which determine the boundary conditions of stability. It describes the proposal of starting protection system before falling backward, and needed response time of active elements.

Abstract: With the city subway and high speed rail opened, development of rail transit pays more and more people's attention. And the pantograph is the primary means of train running at high speed to get power. Using Simulink and dSPACE in combination, real-time captures the pantograph and catenary's motion. According to the state of the pantograph’s motion, analyses physical model, so as to achieve the purpose of independent manufacturing pantograph pantograph.

Abstract: This paper studies the basic principle of the fractal theory, and analyses fractal characteristics of the road crack external form. The fractal dimension characteristic construction algorithm is designed by self-similarity of fractal dimensional and its mathematical expression form. Then road crack texture fractal extraction and analysis is highlighted based on one dimensional fractal. At last, it is compared with regional division combined methods segmentation by testing. The results show that the fractal dimension is a kind of effective quantitative method to depict road crack characteristics, and the algorithm can extract various road crack feature effectively and improve the fracture identification precision and intelligence.

Abstract: Botswana is a Southern African country with an area of about 582,000 sq. km and its small population of about 2 million people. The road transportation network has grown beyond all expectations since independence in 1966. Out of the 18,300 km Botswana Public Highway Networks, gravel road networks are significant in providing access to rural areas where the majority of the population lives. Modelling of gravel loss conditions are required in order to predict their conditions in the future and provide information on the manner in which pavements perform. Such information can be applied to transportation planning, decision making processes and identification of future maintenance interventions. The results of previous attempts to develop gravel loss condition forecasting models using multiple linear regression (MLR) approach have not been reliable. This paper intended to develop accurate and reliable performance models which best capture the effects of gravel loss condition influencing factors using Feed Forward Neural Network (FFNN) modeling technique. As extension of knowledge in unpaved road transportation network, FFNN trained with Levenberg-Marquardt (L-M) method was used to develop gravel loss performance prediction model for Botswana gravel road networks to achieve a reliable result of a higher coefficient of determinant R2 = 0.94 compared with MLR analysis of R2 = 0.74.

Abstract: Public rental project is a protection scheme putting forward for the low-income currently in China. But its promoting and building face great obstacles because of the constraints of financial resources of government. There is however a critical issue in its application that it’s hard to reach an agreement for risk allocation and operation process between the public and the private sectors, resulting in a relatively longer negotiation period and a higher transaction cost. This paper analyzes firstly factors affecting the risk allocation of PPP public rental project and then discusses the operation process of public rental project under PPP model, and analyzes the pricing mechanism and its safeguards of the model. Conclusions of the study can provide guidance to improve risk allocation in PPP public rental project.
