A Study on Development and Design of Toys for Intellectual and Physical Prompting Purpose

Abstract:

For the pursuit of developing new field in toy industry and meeting the demands in new markets, combined with current development trend of aging population in China and associated problems, this paper promotes a new product concept: toys for elder people, to satisfy the needs of the elder’s entertainment and prevention from geriatric diseases. This paper chose ‘Intellectual and Physical Promoting’ as the theme and made a research on development and design strategy of elder people’s toys, finally it analyzed the materials for the toys design.
