Abstract: Environmental monitoring is increasingly playing a significant role in such aspects as environment protection, emergency disaster response and rescue, and macro decision-making etc. However, the intrinsic characteristics of complexity and spatial-temporal diversity, multi-scale features and heterogeneity brought from various means of data acquisition make the integration of multi-source data with high-efficiency becomes an international challenge nowadays. In this paper, the design and implementation of a vehicle-borne platform based on Internet of Things for environmental monitoring has been achieved. And then, by merging and matching environmental data and spatial data, more intensive multi-source environmental parameters and information can be obtained to act as meaningful supplementation of fixed environment monitoring stations. The research of this paper is conductive to the transition of environment monitoring from static methods to dynamic methods and from data-based empirical model to sensor network-based quantitative model. As a result, current environment monitoring will become more timely, dynamic, integrated and intelligent.

Abstract: Greenhouse offers a protective environment for crop production while allowing natural light transmission. Continuous control and monitoring of the greenhouse parameters is a pivotal part in the production practices. This paper aims to tackle the weaknesses of the current system in terms of costly and complex equipments, high maintenance cost, instability and inability to control and monitor from remote location. It describes how the innovative greenhouse control system can be characterized as an event-based system, where every control actions are primarily deliberated compared to the events formed by instabilities from surrounding elements. Proposed paper offers a costs-saving solution with low maintenance required, as well as producing a great performance results. This system eliminates the over-dependability of the industry on human workforce. Basically, the system will continuously measure, control and monitor two of the most important parameters, temperature and light intensity. Hardware such as LM35DZ temperature sensor and light dependent resistor (LDR) used to measure and send input signal to the controller. On the other hand, heating resistor and bulb are receiving output signal from the controller to regulate the controlled variable. The software-based controller able to control the processes while eliminating steady-state error and also give fast response to any changes in the input, or in the effect of disturbance into the system.

Abstract: Automatic meteorological station is important for meteorological observation and the existence of outliers in the observational data is inevitable. The paper proposes outlier detection for observational data of automatic meteorological station based on least square support vector machine (LS-SVM). The method establishes the LS-SVM model for the meteorological factor and uses the model to evaluate the observational data. If the observational data deviate from the model, they would be seemed as outliers. The ground temperature data observed by two real automatic meteorological stations are used in experiments. Experiments results verify that the proposed method realize outlier detection for observational data of automatic meteorological station effectively and ensures subsequent process and analysis of the meteorological data.

Abstract: A rapid spectrophotometric method for flow injection determination of sulfite in tan wastewater is described. The proposed method was based on the addition reaction of sulfite with fuchsin in Na2B4O7-NaOH medium. The optimum conditions allow a linear calibration range of 0.01-1.20 μg ml-1 SO32-. The detection limit is 0.0023μg ml-1 (S/N=3), and the relative standard deviation for night replicate measurements is 1.1% for 0.5μg ml-1 of sulfite. The sampling rate is 60 samples h-1. The procedure has been applied to the determination of sulfite in tan wastewater. The results were in good agreement with those obtained by pararosaniline method.

Abstract: This paper introduced a monitoring system of rice production, which can monitor the ambient temperature, humidity, the temperature of rice water and soil and Terrace surface runoff water in the process of rice production. All the testing data are firstly aggregated to a cluster node, and then transmitted to network datacenter through the GSM, so that users can access the datacenter server for the data related to the production environment. The monitoring system has been installed in the experimental field at the village of Qingkou, Yuanyang County, Yunnan Province. It has been running normally for one year. The system can monitor the real-time meteorological factors affecting the growth of rice, which provides the supporting data for exerting comprehensive control of insect pests and studying in-depth the problems of water terraces and nutrient balance before increasing the yield of rice and improving the quality of rice.

Abstract: Hunan province ranks highly in exporting Animal Derived Foods in the country. This study begins from the current export situation existing problems of Animal Derived Foods of Hunan province in recent years, proposes the ecological designing measures for these existing problems, to Implement quality and safety management by HACCP mode, promote garden-like and low carbon breeding ecological farming model, implement ecological function regionalization & develop local featured breeding, improve the eco-efficiency and construct a featured mode of industrial organization, establish international standardization system for poultry meat products,so as to promote a healthy development of the animal husbandry in Hunan province and actively boosting its exports.

Abstract: The water footprint and consumption pattern is an effective tool for quantitifying the volume of water resources consumption in certain region [ ].Shunyi’s water footprint in the period 2006-2010 is calculated in this article from the view of virtual water. The general water footprint in Shunyi District at the year 2010 reached 790 million m3 and water footprint per capita was 536.48 cubic meters. Shunyi 's water resource quantity per capita was 501.27 m3 in the same year and the Water Scarcity Index was 1.98. The result of calculation shows that the water resource volume of exploitation in Shunyi District of Beijing has been beyond the water resources carrying capacity.

Abstract: Energy is an important asset in modern society. According to the relative data and materials, the energy flowchart of Sichuan province in 2010 was drew at first, then the energy input, output, consumption, corresponding pollutants emission of Sichuan province from 2005 to 2010 were analyzed simultaneously. The results show that the total energy consumption increases rapidly with an average annual growth rate of 10.8%, energy external dependence is little. Energy consumption structure need to be further optimized, and the proportion of traditional fossil energy is larger, which is 77.18% in 2010. Then, we establish the evaluation index of regional energy, social economy and environment complex system, and the coordination degree between energy, economy and environment system in Sichuan province from 2005 to 2010 is analyzed, the results show that the coordination degree is high, and the comprehensive coordination degree of complex system is 0.97238 in 2010. Finally, suggestions of energy development strategy, optimization management of energy flow, energy conservation and emission reduction in Sichuan province are proposed on the basis of the analysis results.

Abstract: This paper used China National Knowledge Infrastructure database (CNKI) to analyze the keywords of water transfer project related papers in core journals from 1992 to 2011. Using Ucinet and SPSS software to make factor analysis and social network analysis, the paper discussed the status and frontier of water transfer research. Results are found that the allocation of water resources, water environment impact are the core, and that the tendency of ecological and the institutionalization including the ecological water requirement, ecological compensation, carrying capacity, water safety, water rights , system and so on are much obvious.

Abstract: The paper firstly gives a definition of enterprises' environmental responsibility. Then from view of economics, it gives an analysis of lack of enterprises' environmental responsibility, including the analysis of property rights, hypothesis of economic man and externality theory. Finally, it raises some proposals to improve the lack of enterprises' environmental responsibility, such as government's economic incentives for enterprises, establishment of ecological compensation system, and law construction.
