The Model Construction and Structures of the Dendronized SWCNTs Collaborative Nano-Materials

Article Preview

Abstract:

The dendronized SWCNTs collaborative nanomaterials were designed by grafting the dendrimers to the surfaces of the SWCNTs (11, 5) based on the interface characteristics of the dendrimer. The results based on molecular dynamics studies shown that the dendrimer modifications formed spiral parallel coated structures after grafting, which probably amplified the chirality of the SWCNTs (11, 5) and used in chirality recognition. 0G dendrimer modification makes the surface of the SWNCTs produce more point outshoots, and the modification is with a better parallel position to the carbon nanotube. These point outshoots increased the active points on the surfaces of the SWCNTs, which maybe lead to high field emission performance.
