Optimal Distribution of Multi-Station Bearings-Only Passive Positioning System in Underwater Acoustic Engineering

Article Preview

Abstract:

For the multi-station positioning system in the field of underwater acoustics engineering, different geometric layout means different location precision. The location precision of the system was analyzed. The location precisions of several typical distributions were simulated, and the optimal form of distribution was provided. The rhombus distribution and the Y distribution are two optimal distributions.
