A Framework of Animation System Embedded E-S Process

Article Preview

Abstract:

A conceptual framework of animation system is proposed in the presented paper, using a novel process called empathizing-systemizing (E-S) process, which is derived from E-S theory. The interactions between animation and listener are affected by two basic factors, i.e., empathizing process and systemizing process. The framework proposed exhibits the latent systematic structure of social and communication by which animation delivery empathy to listener. The framework of animation system embedded E-S process includes a spirally empathizing circle and three systemizing components. The empathizing circle consist of seven steps, such as movement identification, gesture recognition, vocal analysis, perspective inference, coginitive empathizing, emotional empathizing, and empathizing experience. And the three systemizing components include environmental systemizing, character systemizing, and audience systemizing.
