Research on Mechanical Faults with Application of Three Order Cumulants' Coupling Features in Fault Diagnosis

Article Preview

Abstract:

In mechanical engineering, three-order cumulants have a lower computing complexity compared with bispectrum, and three-order cumulants complex formal includes different coupling information of signals in different difinitions, in the experiment, through these different coupling modes, features of fault signals and normal signals are fetched by 2-D wavelet in low frequency part, then these features are used to diagnose fault. The experiment shows that the method can achieve satisfactory result in different difinitions in mechanical fault diagnosis.
