Abstract:

Planning and design of contemporary villa district should not only meet the demand of material life, but also accord with the requirement of spiritual life. Planning and design principles and methods of contemporary villa district were discussed from the aspects of villa site selection, road planning, landscape planning and public facilities in this paper, which has provided foundation for theoretical study on planning and design of villa district.
