Abstract:

The famous Wind-Rain Bridge of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture is one of the most peculiar civil buildings in national architectures of Enshi equally famous as the tilted house, the Wind-Rain Bridge is of extremely long history made of wood in peculiar mold with vivid minority nationality characteristics. The Wind-Rain Bridge of Enshi is analyzed and explored in the paper in several aspects including architectural environment, construction materials, construction technology, structure and decoration.
