Abstract: A generalized auxiliary equation method with symbolic computation is used to construct more general exact solutions of the quadratic nonlinear Klein-Gordon (KG) equation. As a result, new and more general solutions are obtained. It is shown that the generalized auxiliary equation method provides a more powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear partial differential equations arising in the fields of nonlinear sciences.

Abstract: t would be helpful if the companies operating in the forest industry in Latvia in the management process used advantages of strategic management. To make further progress in competitiveness management, the developed strategy should be effectively managed and the achieved progress - assessed. [8.;13.;14.] The strategy consists of the intended activities and the required improvements. [5.] The aim of the case study on forest industry employees competitiveness competence is to find out internal problems of the companies operating in the forest industry, as well as to provide recommendations to balance potential changes of the external environment of forest industry. [9.] If to choose optimal and economically, socially and environmentally balanced way of the development, an appropriate strategy and tactics of competitiveness management, based upon employees competence within the industry competitiveness and CSR should be applied.

Abstract: On the basis of GR log analysis alone, the high GR sandstone reservoirs would probably have been regarded as mudstone and interpreted to be non-reservoir, which has greatly affected the exploration and exploitation of oil and gas reservoir to some extent. Therefore, the principles and standards to distinguish high GR sandstone reservoir from conventional sandstone reservoir, genesis of high GR sandstone reservoir have been systematically studied. Studies show that sandstone reservoir with apparent shale content calculated by GR log value greater than 50%, can be regarded as high GR sandstone reservoir. In the study area, the specific criterion of GR log value for high GR sandstone reservoir is 110API. The high GR characteristic of sandstone reservoir is mainly and directly caused by an abnormally high uranium enrichment, but not the tuff, feldspar or clay mineral. The study area has favorable conditions of abundant uranium source, favorable paleoclimate, and favorable lithology and lithofacies combination for uranium enrichment. In the process of oxygen bearing formation water migrating and leaching uranium bearing tuff, the U+4 can be oxidized to U+6, and uranium element transports in the form of UO2+2. In permeable sandstone reservoir saturated with uranium bearing formation water, the U+6 can be deoxidized into U+4 by oil and gas migrating through faults and stratigraphic unconformities, and accumulates in the form of UO2 in sandstones.

Abstract: Slicing and shredding machine is a kind of food processing machinery, and is widely used in food processing industry, but its function is limited. In order to realize the multifunction of the machine, the machine is improved and developed, driven by a gear and clutch to achieve multifunctional operations, improved its effect.

Abstract: The road pollutant emissions, above all in urban context, are correlated to many infrastructural parameters and to traffic intensity and typology. The research work on road junction geometry, carried out in European research centres, has recently allowed to design new road intersection types which are of undoubted interest, especially in terms of traffic functionality and safety, like the turbo roundabouts (in which right-turn manoeuvres do not conflict with the circulating flow). The main objective of this paper is to propose a model for the estimation the performances and the pollutant emissions into turbo roundabouts. A comparative analysis between conventional roundabout and turbo roundabout has been carried out in terms of CO, CO2, CH4, NO, PM2,5 and PM10 vehicular emissions, evaluated by mean of COPERT Software which is developed as a European tool for the calculation of emissions from the road transport sector.

Abstract: This study examined consumers tactile images of foam sofa cushions. Firstly, the authors sought to understand the manufacturing process for sofa cushions by interviewing some sofa manufacturers and five popular types of foam sofa cushions were produced. The hardness, density and elasticity of the samples were then assessed by analyzing their physical properties. Thirdly, consumers tactile images were analyzed using a Semantic Differential Method and the results for physical properties and psychological experience were compared using Statistical Methods in order to assess consumers tactile images. The results were as follows:The tactile images of different layers of foam structures were identified as stable for Single-Layered Foam, comfortable and stable for Double-Layered Foam, and comfortable, flexible and stable for Multi-Layered Foam.Experiments to determine tactile images demonstrated that foam sofa cushions that had a smaller mean hardness, density, and elasticity seemed more comfortable and flexible and vice versa.Consumers might sit on a sofa when choosing foam sofa cushions in order to assess their actual properties and stability. More flexible foam cushions provided less support and resulted in consumers feeling uncomfortable and tired.

Abstract: A reliable universal triggering system for atomized meter doseinhalers was built. Although the exact dosage into the airway system at different triggering delays was not possible to be determined by means of directly measuring its weight, the use of lasers reflection and high speed movie is an effective comparison method to determine the appropriate triggering moment. A set of transparent tubes was built to imitate the dimensions of a human trachea and bronchiole and two lasers were placed coaxially with such tubes. Light from the lasers was only reflected when the atomized medicine was passing through the tubes;so the longer the time the laser light could be seen, the more effective amount of dosage was being delivered to the lungs. From the experiment, it seems that the best delay time for triggering an inhaler is in the range between 0.7-1.s under the flow rate specified. Any time before that will result in medicine loss, and any time after that the patient might not be able to keep inhaling.

Abstract: Based on the platform of trolley equipment, this paper used a liquid containing gas as a sensor to establish a new testing method in order to simulate the mechanism of contre-coup injury during head decelerating impact. After pouring the liquid containing gas into the transparent skull model, the head model was sealed and fixed to the trolley. Then the trolley was trigged to impact the counterguard as the speed of 50km/h, the impacting course was recorded by a high-speed camera at the same time. Finally, the movement of the gas in the liquid during the impact was analyzed using the sequence pictures analyzing software as to ensure the area of negative pressure which appeared during the impact. The results showed that in the head decelerating impact the negative pressure can appear at the contre-coup site. This denoted that in the traffic accidents brain tissue of driver or passengers may suffer from tension injury at the contre-coup point. This paper provides a new equipment and method to research the biomechanical mechanism of contre-coup injury in traffic accidents which is helpful to understand the distribution of negative pressure in brain tissue during head decelerating impact.
