Empirical Study of Factors for Implementing Reverse Logistics in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Firms

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper, based on a survey of pharmaceutical manufacturing firms in Hunan province, examines the factors for implementing reverse logistics. By factor analysis, we obtain that these factors can be divided into driving and hindering ones from both external and internal environments. Furthermore, after testing the differences of each variable by One Way ANOVA, we find that significant differences take place in terms of firm types and the existence and non-existence of a logistics sector. Finally, some suggestions are presented based on the conclusions.
