Abstract: In 21 century, water quality problem is one of the most serious questions that effected human healthy and social development. In this context, it is necessary to evaluation water quality for drinking water. This is undoubtedly of great significance to human health and social stability. Based on the water monitoring and field surveys, this manuscript applied with “one-vote negation” method and eutrophic index evaluation method for two important urban drinking water resources in Beibei district, Chongqing. These two method were mainly depend on single water quality index which was indicated the worst one. And the results shower that: (1) evaluation by “one-vote negation” method, water quality of water resource D was satisfied with grade Ⅲ, and centralized water supply of J was meet with grade Ⅱ. (2)Eutrophication assessment on all water points indicate that the evaluation results of water quality is acceptable.

Abstract: The regression method was adopted to establish mathematical models for the select ion of most effective combination of pH value, temperature,C/N,MLSS,that are four major factors affecting activity of catalase,in activated sludge. The models are:Y=-655.7+507.7X1-58.4X3-0.11X4-18.3X1X3-0.12X1X4+0.04X3+44.04X12-0.17X32+0.000005X42,F=111.37,p<<0.01. It reveals that the catalase has the highest activity under the combination of pH7, temperature 25°C,MLSS 8000mg/L.

Abstract: The effects of hydrated lime, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, straw ash and silkworm excrement on the extractability of heavy metals, pH and organic matter content in soil were studied. The results showed that the application of the four organic-inorganic complex treatments decreased the concentration of available Pb by 22.2 to 48.9 percent, and reduced the concentration of available Cd by 29.1 to 58.4 percent, which was obviously superior to the single organic or inorganic treatments. The addition of hydrated lime had the greatest effects on soil pH, while the application of silkworm excrement significantly increased the organic matter content in soil.

Abstract: Environmental impact is more and more being paid attention to in construction engineering. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an effective assessment tool; however, the application of LCA in construction engineering is still in its infancy, a series of issues on theoretical approaches and practical applications still exist. In this paper, the existing work of the application of LCA in construction engineering has been reviewed from two aspects of theoretical framework and application method, and then the existing problems were analyzed and some perspectives were put forward.

Abstract: This study aims to explore the impact of tourists leisure farm environmental protection behavioral cognition on their travel willingness. The research population was visitors from ten leisure farms in Southern Taiwan. Out of 600 distributed survey questionnaires, 517 usable responses were returned with a high valid response rate of 72%. The study findings show that (1) tourists gender and age variables exert no significant differences regarding the impacts on tourists environmental protection behavioral cognition, (2) tourists with university educational background have higher leisure farm environmental protection behavioral cognition than tourists with high school educational level, (3) married tourists have higher environmental protection awareness than unmarried tourists, and (4) tourists leisure farm environmental protection behavioral cognition has high explanatory power toward forecasting travel willingness.

Abstract: A water quality model large-scale Non-Point Source pollution model was widely applied to deal with nonpoint source pollution in China. In this paper, the model was improved by adjusting the time step. The time scale of the solution module was modified to one day and half a month for the adhesion module. The Non-Point Source pollution loads in Haikou in 2008 were calculated by using the new model. The results show that the major pollutants of Haikou were the COD from large and small livestock, and the soluble pollution loads were much larger than the adsorbed pollution loads. Pollution loads of all types showed evident temporal and spatial trends. Moreover, the NPS pollution loads were dramatically larger in the flood season than in dry season. The distribution of average load of Non-Point Source pollution in Haikou originated from different areas showed significant spatial differences.

Abstract: Through the determination of CAT activity and INT-ETS activity in SBR system to discuss respectively the relationship between the activity change of CAT and INT-ETS in the conventional activated sludge and humus activated sludge activity, the experimental results indicate that there are bigger differences between the changing rules of CAT activity and INT-ETS activity in the conventional activated sludge, but feature points appear on both of the changing curves, and CAT activity and INT-ETS activity are significantly positive correlation. So are CAT activity and INT-ETS activity in the humus activated sludge.

Abstract: Based on the problem which is water quality instability and high energy consumption in the running of modified A2/O system in Changchun northern sewage treatment plant, we established the optimum parameters and optimized the operation conditions to provide technical support for the stable operation of the wastewater treatment plant by analyzing effect of the system in different conditions Test results showed the best dissolved oxygen concentration in the end of the aerobic tank, sludge recycling ratio and inner recycling ratio should be chosen 1.5~2.5mg/L, 80% and 180%. The operation results with optimal operation conditions showed that COD, ammonia nitrogen, SS, TN and TP removal rate were 89.07%, 80.44%, 95.27%, 61.09% and 89.88%. The process system effect is stable and effluent can satisfy the sewage discharged standards.
