Abstract: For the lack of effective product representation method, traditional CAD system cannot support integration of product design and manufacture effectively. This integration is the key to achieving Three-dimensional process design. Using the model definition of manufacturing feature, the part information of processing & manufacturing could be expressed completely. This representation method was put forward using the manufacturing feature of "cutting characteristics". A dynamic model of the manufacturing feature was established. Through study on mapping rules between features, the shape features mapping to the manufacturing features were realized. An effective solving way was provided for the expression of CAPP product model.

Abstract: The internal combustion engine vehicles is currently the most important means of transport, but it causes air pollution and rapid decrease in volume of oil reserves and many other issues, therefore, the best choice to reduce carbon emissions is the electric vehicle. Unfortunately, the use of electric vehicles is very uncommon situation now. In this study, We employ scenario analysis of the basic principles and procedures, Let science and technological development, government policies and laws, consumer consciousness, firm behavior and other variables included into consideration, to analyze the possibility of electric vehicles in the future direction of development. And proposes specifically the feasible strategy development suggestion by scenario analysis method, includes: 1. reduce the battery cost; 2. government incentive policy; 3. establish charging stations.

Abstract: This study used recumbent exercise bicycles as the target of investigation and adopted the subjective comfort level assessment results for users after riding to determine the optimal seat position for recumbent exercise bicycles. A total of 16 healthy female participants with heights between 155 and 165 cm were recruited. Participants were required to ride the exercise bicycle at six different seat positions for 1 minute at 65 revolutions per minute (rpm). A 7-point Likert scale was used to conduct the overall comfort-level assessment. The results were as follows: 1) A significant variation in the overall comfort level of the subjects occurred for different seat positions; 2) for women with heights between 155 and 165 cm, the optimal seat position was when the seat center was 629 mm (horizontal distance) from the crankshaft center and 467 mm from the ground surface; and 3) by using regression analysis, the optimal seat position for various heights when riding was derived as follows: seat center position from the crankshaft center (horizontal distance; mm) is equal to 357.729 + 0.687 body height (cm), and seat center position from the ground surface (vertical distance; mm) is equal to 153.018 + 3.005 body height (cm).

Abstract: Commercial vehicle clutch release bearings working at high speed, strong vibration,high temperature, damp and easy pollution conditions. Fatigue life analysis is based on the release bearing rings or rolling body began to appear fatigue spalling, in which this kind of phenomenon is under cyclic stress. The contact stress distribution is not uniform, the contact stress is mainly concentrated near the surface; influenced by the geometry and physical properties and lubrication of the surface significantly. Contact between the two types of fatigue crack extension methods: fatigue crack surface under expansion and surface fatigue crack propagation. The surface crack growth mainly originated from two kinds of cases: crack caused by surface pre crack and contact between the two surface asperity each other. New life prediction model for the release bearing based on L-P theory and Tallian model ,in which influence factors of fatigue life is introduced on the smelting process, surface defect, surface roughness, residual stress, elastohydrodynamic lubrication oil film,environmental cleanliness, temperature, the effect of varying load characteristics and other factors of fatigue life. The results show that: the clutch release bearing life prediction model of new and more close to the real conditions of automobile clutch, provide the theory basis for the development of a new generation high-speed heavy-duty clutch release bearing of the commercial vehicle.

Abstract: On the basis of studying the sheet bending forming mechanism, the process of V-bending has carried on the finite element simulation analysis. Aimed at the phenomenon such as the springback in the sheet forming process, according to the quality of formed parts evaluation index, the impact of changes on stamping parameters such as blank holder force, stamping velocity, friction coefficient was analyzed on the bending process and springback of stamping parts. The parts quality problems encountered in the process of stamping process were predicted, in order to provide a theoretical basis for the stamping process design and mold design to effectively shorten the mold design and production commissioning period.

Abstract: In this paper, the type selection of resistance spot welding guns and 3D part drawings library are developed based on the C# programming software and Solidworks environment. It is called rswg-swc software system. The selection method of resistance spot welding guns is analyzed, 3D graphic library about the general parts and series parts of welding gun is established .Utilizing the user interface, input the necessary parameters to choose corresponding product model, product assembly drawings and part drawing are created in Solidworks.

Abstract: The simulation and analysis system for cylindrical gear was developed based on the parameterized concept in this paper. The accurate modeling and analysis process was programmed by APDL. Visual C++ was utilized to carry out a secondary development for ANSYS, and the simulation and analysis system with good human-machine interface was realized. Based on the system, the parameterized modeling and analysis were performed. A parameter set of spur cylindrical gear was taken to execute a transient dynamic analysis, and the maximum values of contact stress and bending stress of pinion and wheel were respectively obtained. The simulation results show that the gear model can be created efficiently, and the boundaries can be applied accurately. The proposed system provides the basis and reference for gear strength checking.

Abstract: The secondary development of Pro/E NC Processing tool-database is carried out by the use of Pro/Toolkit and Access2003, which is based on VC++. The study can solve the problem of inputting a great number of parameters during simulation processing, and can also realize parametric design of diamond saw blade. It is researched to extend the applying of the CAM model of Pro/E in the stone cutting processing. In this study, it is realized to communicate data sources of saw blade parameter, Pro/Toolkit procedures and MFC application program by DLL, in order to finish use of database by means of activating menu and dialogue box. All above makes the diamond saw blade library work during NC Processing. Because the function of Pro/Toolkit sdk is fully developed, the special requirement of the stone industry for Pro/NC can be satisfied.

Abstract: The Cutting tool rotation and movement Matrix equation is established in the paper according to the high efficiency of NC machining elliptic cone. Tool path of the elliptic cone is established by the tangent method and Bernstein curve equations. Line contact contour surface method of machining surface is put forward on the basis of tool path. With this method surface interpolation can be carried out according to the equation of curved surface, which can be efficiently processing elliptic cone. Simulation experiments were carried out in this paper, and the results showed that Elliptic cone can be NC machining with high efficiency by the line contact contour surface method.

Abstract: Planar multi-linkage mechanism is widely used in the manufacturing industry. In this paper, a kind of planar R-RRR-RRP mechanism is analyzed. The kinematics simulation model is established based on assur rod group method and then implemented for this kind of mechanism based on MATLAB/Simulink. Through simulation, the motion rules for the key part of mechanism (the end-effector) are obtained. The simulation results show that this method is effective and efficient when the simulation is implemented for a certain machine system. Meanwhile, it provides a foundation for design and manufacturing of the mechanism in the future.
