Abstract: In this paper, the finite element analysis is made to the structure of the impeller, a finite element model of a impeller with cracks was established. This paper presents results of the stress analysis of the compressor blade subjected to centrifugal force and aerodynamic equilibrium pressure. A nonlinear finite element method was utilized to determine the stress state of the blades. In this analysis, the numerical models without defects and also with cracks were defined. The simulation results showed that high stresses occurred in the areas where the cracks initiated under both centrifugal force and aerodynamic equilibrium pressure. The distribution of two cracked blades can greatly influence the stress level of the impeller; when two cracked blades locate in the adjacent positions, the increasing value of stress is minimum. When the two cracked blades separated by 150°, the increasing value of stress is maximum. It provides a basis for strength calculation of the impeller.

Abstract: Oil pump cover, as a part of the oil pump, is generally formed by adopting aluminum die casting molding, and required for good internal and external quality. In order to improve the oil pump cover forming quality, the paper first simulates the thermal equilibrium of die-casting mold in the forming process by finite element analysis, and obtains the temperature curves when mold works for 10 consecutive cycles, and determines that the thermal equilibrium temperature of die-casting mold is 260 °C. And then, based on the simulation results of filling and solidification in the forming process by ProCAST software, the shrinkage and cavity appear in the larger wall thickness of the casting. Meanwhile, by simulating the die-casting processes of the oil pump at different pouring temperatures, there are the least of shrinkage and cavity when the pouring temperature setting 640 °C. The results show that: it can take some methods to achieve the progressive solidification, and can reduce or eliminate the possible shrinkage and cavity, such as shortening the distance between sprue, runner and inner runner and die casting to reduce the casting heat loss, or adding cooling system to accelerate the cooling rate in the larger wall thickness of the casting. This analysis provides theoretical basis for the actual casting production of oil pump covers.

Abstract: A CAD model cannot be reused efficiently because of its incomplete design information. To solve this problem, a CAD model reuse method based on the IDH (Integrate Design History) is presented. IDH is defined as full record of modeling process and related knowledge, an extended CAD model is built as the carrier of the IDH. Based on the extended CAD model, a model reuse method is proposed by taking advantage of product design guide technology. Finally, a prototype system is developed and verifies the efficiency and feasibility of this method.

Abstract: The safety assessment of pressure vessel gets increasing attentions with the more extensive application. Taking the <safety assessment of pressure vessel with defect in service> as theoretical basis accomplished the failure simulation system. Completed the simulation of failure patch. Raised the new curve of failure patch. Achieved the simulation of failure rate and found the rate inflection point. And then work out the largest dimension change and the highest stress cycle times that allowed , based on the rate inflection point put forward a method of residual life calculation of pressure vessel and the definition of safety margin.

Abstract: Three heat exchangers, all of which have 38 tubes in total and 6 passes, with different tube arrangements were simulation investigated in laboratory. The effect of flat tube distribution on heat transfer performance and pressure drop characteristic was simulation investigated. The effect of different air velocity and flow on heat transfer performance and pressure drop characteristic was simulation investigated too. The results show that similar tube distribution has little effect on heat transfer but has great effect on pressure drop. It was found the tube arrangement from first pass to sixth pass is 10,9,6,5,4,4 has the best heat transfer performance and its pressure drop is small. The heat transfer and pressure drop increase with the air velocity and refrigerant flow.

Abstract: In the oilfield development, the packer is one of important downhole tool in oilfield drilling technology, and sealing effect of the sliding sleeve fracturing ball system directly affect the packer's sealing performance. Using UG software to establish 3D sliding sleeve fracturing ball and base model. Based on Ansys workbench simulation platform, finite element analysis was carried out on the sliding sleeve fracturing ball, distribution pattern in different materials, and sealing effect. Fracturing experiments were done to verify the accuracy of the simulation analysis and ensure the sliding sleeve fracturing system reliability in practical work.

Abstract: In order to meet the drying demand of breeding wheat in China, the flank type of cropland plot breeding wheat drying car was designed, which was equipped with the solar collector automatically adjusting device and ensured that with the sun azimuth maximum angle of radiation, increased heat collecting efficiency in effective time. Used alternate partition drying storehouse and double duct W type corrugated plate collector to increase the effective contact time and heating effect about dry hot air with the breeding wheat, so improved the drying efficiency of wheat seed. The test results showed that the flank type of cropland plot breeding wheat drying car could easy to move within the cropland plot, when conducive to the breeding wheat drying operations, the average drying rate was 1.471%/h, and compared with the traditional drying methods, the average drying time was relatively reduced by 36.4%.

Abstract: A finite-element mechanical model is established aiming at the features of telescopic suspension arm of dirt-removing crane in practice, such as that there exist many compound modes, the range of variation in lifting weight is big, etc. The strength, stiffness and stability of suspension arm is calculated and optimized based on ANSYS (software). The result of conventional design, which is checked and revised, tallies with the measured value relatively and may provide valuable reference for the design of suspension arm, which is to some extent significant to prolonging the fatigue life of cranes.

Abstract: The machine tool bed is an important component of the center. The function is components of support column, worktable and so on. The machining accuracy can be influenced by the function machine tool bed. To establish the finite element model of horizontal machining center by Solid works. And the first six orders modal can be analyzed by Ansys. The dynamic sensitivity analysis is used to determine the parameters of stiffened plate by sensitivity optimization method. The better structure parameters can be getting by making a structural optimization design for the analysis. Finally, the dynamic characteristics and function of the machine tool bed can be improved.
