Abstract: In order to avoid the drawbacks of physical detection methods, such as spoiling the road, having complex algorithms and affected by weather factors, the detection methods of traffic and road condition are explored using the Adaboost algorithm and its three variants based on PHOG (pyramid histogram of edge orientation gradients) image feature. Experimental results show that this method can effectively classify 4 types of traffic and road condition images, and Gentle Adaboost algorithm has the best performance for the noisy samples.

Abstract: This paper studies on urban rail traffic organization scheduling adjustment method. It describes different kinds of disturbance events that may occur in metro operation, and analyzes how various disturbance affect traffic order. It points out that the essence of disturbance is breaking the balance between transport capacity and demand, and the fundamental purpose of scheduling adjustment is to re-match capacity and demand. Its helpful to choose the most reasonable solution that making various disturbances effects on traffic. Available and matching scheduling adjustment methods for different disturbance scenarios are expounded in the paper.

Abstract: Based on ant colony algorithm, urban real-time traffic optimal path algorithm was designed through restricting search area and direction, making real-time distance as optimal path weights and regarding turning as the impact of weight value in Chinese traffic. The algorithm could calculate the optimal path through algorithm complexity test. The obtained path enabled user to reach destination within a short time and with the least fuel through actual traffic test. It is regarded as the optimal path.

Abstract: The public transport infrastructure of a city is one of the most important indicators of its economic growth and development. Here we study the public transport network of Shenyang, which represents Chinese domestic civil public transport infrastructure, as a complex network. We find that the public transport system of Shenyang, a network of public transportation routes connected by bus links, is a small-world network characterized by a Poisson degree distribution. We investigate the public transport network as a complex network to explore its topological properties. Simulation results show that the public transport network exhibits small world behavior.

Abstract: Two prediction models, exponential smoothing and trend moving average method, are selected for bus passenger traffic prediction. An analysis is made from aspects of basic idea, basic theory and so on. With the bus passenger traffic of Anqing, underlying index is used to compare the prediction accuracy of two models. The results demonstrate that trend moving average method has better effect on bus passenger traffic prediction. Therefore, the trend moving average method is rational and effective on the bus passenger traffic prediction.

Abstract: Analysis the pros and cons with the current three-dimensional GIS development techniques, we proposed a new three-dimensional GIS development technology based on Google Earth, Sketchup and SuperMap software, to better achieve the virtual digital of the three-dimensional model. The Google Earth software gets the two-dimensional area to be modeling image which imports into Google Sketchup software, establishment of two-dimensional vector graphics, and then build roads and construction of three-dimensional models. Then, SuperMap component realizes the integration of spatial data and attribute data integration management, the realization of digital based on data collection, classification, storage of property data and management. Based on this, we applied the development technology to the virtual campus three-dimensional navigation system. In this, some technology flow charts are given. Finally, compared with some other three-dimensional GIS development technologies, a discussion and conclusion presented. We call to apply three-dimensional GIS navigation.

Abstract: Rail transportation includes intercity rail transportation and urban rail transportation. Information technology is indispensable for the development of rail transportation. This paper first gives the architecture of rail transportation information technology, and puts forward the structure of rail transportation information industry based on it. In this paper, rail transportation information industry is divided into communication industry, Signal industry, vehicle information industry, power monitoring industry, environmental control and fire alarm industry, automatic fare collection industry, operation and management system industry. Then from the two aspects of railway and urban rail transportation, this paper analyses each industry chain in the rail transportation information industry.

Abstract: Traffic safety states can be divided into safe and dangerous according to the attributes of video images of traffic safety states. We propose a synergic neural network recognition model based on prototype pattern by analyzing various methods on intelligent video processing. Our proposed method realizes real time classification of traffic safety states with high accuracy of traffic safety states recognition. The experimental results validate that the accuracy of classification of proposed method arrives at 87.5%, increased by 16.2% compared to traditional neural network methods.

Abstract: Based on the RP-SP data collected in the holiday travel behavior survey in 2013, this paper analyzed the impact effect of integrated multimodal travel information (IMTI) on the holiday trip chain characteristics. General statistical analysis is adopted to compare the trip chain structural characteristics, spatial-temporal characteristics and the mode split under the IMTI service or not. The results show that, under the influence of IMTI, 9% of the travelers will cancel their trips and 13% will change their trip mode. Moreover, the pre-trip information has a significant influence on the activity point number, trip chain length and travel time, has moderate influence on activity duration, and has weak influence on transfer time and trip distance. On the other hand, the en-route information has weak influence on the trip chain structure and spatiotemporal characteristics.

Abstract: In recent years, the rate of the highway traffic accident remains high, with rear-end collisions accounted for more than 75%. In order to effectively reduce the incidence of rear-end collisions, this paper proposes a safety warning algorithm based on relative speeds among vehicles approaching an intersection from different directions. This algorithm relies on the GPS navigation system to obtain vehicles position and speed information, calculates the relative angle information between vehicles, and uses the information to calculate the safety distance between vehicles to determine the relationship between the safe distance and the time to collision, and to choose a proper alert system. The safety warning algorithm was implemented, simulated and verified under Matlab environment with the considerations of the influences of all kinds of road environment added to the system. The method and the algorithm proposed in this research has the advantages of broader applications in many V2V communication network systems for automobile or pilotless automobile and robot systems, and less and more efficient computation. The developed system based on the proposed research is more adaptive, safer with better fault tolerance compared with other systems.
