Abstract: Mobile phones become popular, and Android is the most popular open source mobile platform. To protect the mobile users security and privacy, it is necessary for us to adopt certain secure screen lock mechanism. Regrettably, existing screen lock mechanism failed to provide more stronger security. In this paper, we present a method to strength the screen locks security. Our evaluation shows that our screen lock is stronger than the existing mechanism.

Abstract: In this paper, the reactive power control strategy of distributed wind farm has been researched, a reactive allocation setting method based on reducing generator loss has been has been proposed. First, the doubly-fed wind turbine generator reactive power support capacity and the relation of reactive power to generator loss have been researched, then, aiming at tracking control on overall station level of wind farm reactive power, a single-target multi-constrained optimal allocation of reactive setting method has been proposed, finally, by case study, the effectiveness of this allocation setting method has been verified. Compared with in average allocation setting method, the loss can be decreased 2%, the power generation capacity can be improved, and the method is more effective in large area.

Abstract: SDLC bus communication module was designed and implemented in this paper. AM85C30 is used to accomplish the SDLC protocol control and adapts to PC/104 bus. Driver software is designed based on DMA streams driver under Windows CE 5.0. In order to achieve the maximum baud rate and lowering down the CPU usage, data exchange between AM85C30 and the host is implemented using DMA. Software circular FIFO is designed for buffering the SDLC frame data and status information, solving the frame losing problem when transferring data in high speed. RS485 bus is used in physical layer and works in half-duplex mode. The network topology is simplified and communication reliability is enhanced. The SDLC module is deployed in a launch vehicle video acquisition system. Field working indicates that the system can achieve stable speed of 2Mbps for both channels simultaneously.

Abstract: Ka-band satellite communication system has some advantages including a large bandwidth, a huge capacity, a narrow beam, a small terminal size, which makes it a trend in future satellite communications. However, the system is now faced with great challenge-meteorological factors, which aroused suspicion among researchers about its realization. In this paper, the feature of rain fade is analyzed and several compensation methods are presented.

Abstract: The iterative process of bit-interleaved coded modulation iterative decoding (BICM-ID) leads to the increase of computational complexity and decoding delay at the receiver, although it owns remarkable bit-error-rate (BER) performance both in additive Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel and Rayleigh fading channel. A variety of the stopping criteria are put forward to reduce the unnecessary iterations in the process. This paper presents a simplified cross-entropy (CE) stopping criterion based on CE criterion, which sets self-adaptive thresholds for different SNRs to decide whether to calculate the CE in the receiver. Simulation results show that the simplified CE criterion can obtain a better performance and lower computational complexity. The iterative number of the simplified CE criterion is about 12.2% less than the conventional CE criterion.

Abstract: In view of the popularity of mobile device within the industry, a mobile monitor extension of PC-PLC architecture is designed and implemented. The extension module utilizes OLE for Process Control (OPC) technology to access industry control configuration software, and then publishes monitoring operations as service by employing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), so that management staffs can monitor the process of production by any mobile device which has ability to invoke web service. Since Android operation system has a high market share, some industry controls based on Android are developed, which have been used to configure production pictures. Combing production picture generated in advance and real-time production data, the extension module is able to provide the capability of visual monitoring at any time and place.

Abstract: A simplified decoding algorithm for turbo trellis-coded modulation (T-TCM) is proposed, which is easy to implement in hardware. The algorithm exploits a new piece-wise function to replace the logarithmic term of the Jacobian logarithm based on the MacLaurin Series. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can archive log-MAP-similar decoding performance with a much lower computational complexity. It can reduce about 40% of calculation in contrast to the improved MAX-Log-MAP.

Abstract: The reverse intermodulation interference exits among multi-standard base stations, it needs less than-114dBm/100KHz within a receiver band. A test method improved mechanism to measure IM3 (3rd order intermodulation product) during base station design, which made the test results better by reducing the nonlinear contribution from key component directional coupler in test environment. The new method changed hardware connection without any cost. Improved test mechanism can detect low level IM3 beneath-138dBm/100KHz in RX band.

Abstract: The low frequency transverse magnetic electric induction heating system uses high penetration of low frequency electromagnetic induction heat objects, which is new and high efficient. Due to the magnetic fluxing through objects transversely, it is different with other electromagnetic induction heating methods and this makes it applied more widely. And in this paper, we present the application of low frequency transverse magnetic electric induction heating system in the technique of the lock temperature on seamless line. With the analysis of heating efficiency, it also combines the theory of eddy current loss calculation with the verification results of finite element calculation and introduces the structure design of this system then. Keywords: low frequency electromagnetic induction, continuous welded rail, the lock temperature on seamless line, finite element
