Abstract: Infrastructure undergoes a number of phases during its whole service life: from planning, design, construction, operation (or service), rehabilitation and final demolition end of life. One of the most challenging issues facing civil engineering profession is the intelligent management of infrastructure to ensure its safe and serviceable operation and function. This paper will present a paradigm for the whole life care of infrastructure. Based on recent research and findings in corrosion affected concrete structures during its whole life of service, methods and models to be used in the paradigm will be outlined. Discussion on challenges in each area will also be provided. This paper will advocate that whole life care of infrastructure is the future trend for civil engineering progression.

Abstract: China is one of the most countries that invest considerable money on fundamental construction. How to reduce the occurrence of safe accidents and ensure the realization of construction safety has become focus of the whole society. In the perspectives of stakeholders, the construction project stakeholders can be divided into core layer, strategic layer and outer circle layer from three dimensions of qualitative analysis and judgment. Some effective suggestions for construction safety management are put forward.

Abstract: By analyzing the points of construction process quality control in the building construction project and the relationship among quality control, cost control and schedule control, the main factors affecting the construction process quality control in the building construction project are given out, and a practical system is established. This system includes pre-construction quality planning, quality control, drawings reviewing technical tests, building products quality control, responsibility for quality and other aspects. The practical application of this system in some building construction projects proved its effectiveness in the project quality control.

Abstract: This paper by using theories and bibliometrics methods, researches the papers on Building Information Molding (BIM) from growth law of papers, distribution of paper authors, periodicals and keywords for the statistic and analysis with EXCEL, NOTEEXPRESS data analysis and processing tool. The research priorities and hot spots of BIM are summarized.

Abstract: To study what and how factors impact on inter-organizational and inter-divisional collaboration in construction projects, a management collaboration model was established, and eight indicators of the model were figured out. A questionnaire including 20 questions designed and delivered to 488 participants from 85 projects, the data of samples analyzed and the correlation of variables calculated by multivariate software named R. Results show that 92.70 percent of respondents suggest that the different project objectives, the different organizational culture and the poor information exchange and communication are the core factors leading to conflict between the participant organizations. Multivariate statistical analysis results show that greater inter-divisional collaboration, more harmonious interpersonal relationship, slighter sense of hierarchy, stronger orientation of democratic management style, and better information exchange and communication can generate less conflicts and better inter-organizational collaboration.

Abstract: The enterprise information construction is mainly for enterprise standardization, to improve the overall management and the work efficiency of entire enterprise. In order to make enterprise do better information construction and enhance core ability of competition by appropriately using the knowledge of engineering economics, truly putting the modern sciences and technology knowledge into the construction practice, improving the knowledge economic benefits and accelerating the economic development of enterprises, and adapting to the rapidly growing global information age, this paper discusses the problems in the enterprise information construction and puts forward the corresponding solutions from the viewpoint of information economics.

Abstract: The contradiction between traditional arcade building and modernization process arose gradually and restricted the development of arcade. With the accelerated urbanization, the interruption of inheritance and continuation of this type of architecture with regional characteristics turned up. Based on the theory of modern urban space, the architectural configuration is regarded as the breakthrough point, where the arcade building is deeply analyzed from three aspects of spatial configuration enrichment, substance function expansion and place spirit deepening. To provide the basic idea and method for achieving sustainable development, some relevant strategies and conceptions on inheritance and development of arcade building are put forward.

Abstract: With the rapid development of decoration industry, a number of laws and regulations have been issued on quality supervision in the decoration engineering. However, there are still many problems and hidden troubles under the restriction of regulations. Therefore, this paper finds out the reasons from the aspects of technology, environment and human operations, and puts forward the suggestions for the regulation and quality assurance of decoration.

Abstract: Ecological architecture is the sustainable building with broad space for development. Pros and cons of the construction scheme have great effects on the quality, cost and time limit of a project, the best one is pretty necessary to be chose. This paper put forward the fuzzy multiple attribute decision on the basis of the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of various methods, studies the applicability of the construction scheme optimization combined with the optimization example. The results have a strong guiding role on the construction enterprise construction scheme.
