Abstract: Nowadays countries in the world are committed to the energy conservation and emission reduction, and the construction is the most energy consumption stage in the life cycle of the building. Green construction will be a key link to realize energy conservation and emission reduction in the construction field. A green construction evaluation index system is established in this paper, which includes five-level aspects such as construction management, materials and material resource utilization, water conservation and utilization, energy efficiency and utilization, and land utilization and protection. These aspects are further divided into 20 indices of green construction management system.

Abstract: The accelerated process of urbanization and the adjustment of national housing policy provide a new chance for the development of residential real estate. But the speed of building new public facilities is relatively slow in the development of residential constructions, which affects both the improvement of life qualities for residents and the development of the housing industry. With the analysis of current urban public service facilities, the main configuration principles of the living form of overall architecture and cell-level public service facilities are indicated, and a hexagonal system model is proposed for positioning of city settlements morphology.

Abstract: Commercial service facilities in the level of residential quarters are important in the lives of the residents, which is also an important standard to measure the satisfactions of the residents. With the analysis of the demand for the living environment, the study discusses the respective behavior and the characteristics of activities. Based on the analysis, it concludes the principles of the layout and the display of commercial service facilities in residential area providing basic information for creating a safe, convenient, comfortable living environment.

Abstract: As the urban rapid development and the continuous improvement of people's living standard, residents put forward higher request for sound environment quality of residential building. By analyzing the main factors influencing the urban residence acoustic environment, in view of site selection planning, architectural design, structural measures and other appropriate measures, reasonable noise control measures are put forward to improve urban residential environment quality and provide residents with a quiet sound living environment.

Abstract: The importance of technical disclosure in construction of project is described and the necessity of application of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology used in technical disclosure is analyzed correspondingly. Many actual cases of technical disclosure in construction used BIM technology in our company with its application are discussed subsequently. The results show that the BIM technology can simplify the procedures of technical disclosure on the construction phase, and multi-software work together based on BIM provides a guidance for different types of projects. Many advantages of BIM such as construction simulation, 3D roaming can improve the quality of technical disclosure. Finally, recommendations and requirements for the specific implementation of BIM on the construction phase are proposed: the BIM model for technical disclosure is the most unique model in the entire life cycle; the locally refined extent is much more than the final completion model, which should be paid more attention to in the whole process of program development when BIM implemented.

Abstract: With the rapid development of construction industry progress, construction safety is paid more attention by more and more people. At present, construction safety has become the main problem which restricted the construction industrys development. It not only reflects construction enterprises management level, but also the economic efficiency of enterprises. Therefore, adopting prevention measures about construction industry is worth researching and discussing. This paper introduces the present situation of safety management in construction sites, then analyses the major safety management problems. Finally, it pertinently advances effective countermeasures on the basis of Safety First, Prevention First, Comprehensive Treatment to achieve the aim at reducing the construction safety accident rate to the greatest extent.

Abstract: Green building, also known as green construction or sustainable building, refers to a structure and using process that is environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a buildings life-cycle from siting to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation and demolition. This requires close cooperation of design team, architects, engineers, and client at all project stages. The green building practice expands and complements the classical building design concerns of economy, utility, durability and comfort.

Abstract: Global warming is a reality due to the curent level of greenhouse gas emissions globally. Housing construction should take into account factors which contribute to global warming while making the construction affordable in view of the greenhouse gas emissions and the continually increasing energy costs. It is important that housing construction overcomes the irrationality of the current conventional construction method which is not only expensive but has poor thermal performance and ignores the significant environmental impact of high embodied energy of the building process which contributes to the greenhouse gas emissions. Because of this there is a need for developing improved low cost sustainable building techniques. This paper presents an innovative rammed earth core concrete jacket walling system that can provide significant improvements in environmental impact, comfort and cost of both building the house and the cost of operational energy. The construction uses mainly local natural materials with very little high energy processing there by reducing the embodied energy of the construction. Not only using local materials in this construction but also only basic building skills are required for construction workers and therefore the system is ideally suited to rural areas and has potential application to developing countries. This method of construction has better performance in case of earth quakes which saves many lives. The paper presents a discussion of the efficiency of such high thermal mass solutions and describes the construction process.

Abstract: Based on the situation of residential construction, economic characteristics and construction technology in rural region, the design idea on energy saving optimization in rural residence based on low cost and technology is formed. On this basis, combining the characteristics of rural residential construction and the current economic situation in rural areas, applicable strategy on energy saving optimization for external wall in winter cold and summer hot regions of rural residence is put forward, which contains increase of wall thickness, using insulation layer with different thickness for each orientation wall, adopting applicable thermal insulation materials and doing heat-insulating design for west wall. The strategy has good popularization value in winter cold and summer hot regions.
