Abstract: Difficulties of engineering supervision are mainly in the complex beneficial relationship among the owner, supervision and contractor. Owners lack of knowledge on the need of supervision and uneven quality of supervision personnel bring about disjunction in the stage of decision making, design and construction during the project operating process. The measures can be used to introduce a new mechanism to eliminate the economic dependence between the supervision unit and the owner, enhance the construction of laws and regulations in supervision, improve the three main competitive consciousnesses and ability of the construction market, and strengthen the engineering and construction market regulation.

Abstract: The enclosed air plays a significant role in form-finding and loading analysis of ETFE cushions. A new numerical model of ETFE cushions is proposed in order to consider the interaction effects between outer membrane and internal air. Then the form-finding and loading analysis of a regular hexagon ETFE cushion are performed and compared with experimental study. It is shown that the numerical results are in good agreement with the test results. The interaction FE model can be used in static analysis of ETFE cushions.

Abstract: Under the premise of the rapid development of housing in the whole country, Hainan Province as the only an international tourism island, the affordable housing development has been got a wide concerns and high evaluation by the provincial government. But in the process of rapid development, there are still some problems to be solved. This paper analyzes the main problems in construction and management of affordable housing in Haikou, Hainan Province, and puts forward corresponding countermeasure according to the Twelfth Five Plan about affordable housing.

Abstract: A numerical study on the smoke flow in a shaft, representing the stairwells, the elevator shafts and warehouses, is conducted during a high-rise building fire. It is of vital importance to predict the movement of smoke throughout the tall structure, because smoke is the major and leading cause of fatalities. The stack effect takes place due to the temperature differences between the smoke in shafts and the environment. The cold air enters in at a lower opening and exhausts at a higher ones, and this leads to the concept of the horizontal elevation called the neutral pressure plane, where the air flow equals zero. The location of neutral plane plays a key role on the management of smoke. The numeral results obtained with the FDS (Fire Dynamic Simulator) illustrate how the smoke movement can be managed in order to mitigate dangerous conditions within the structure.

Abstract: The involvement of the private investor in urban regeneration projects makes the verification of the financial feasibility of the initiative inevitable. Thus, the applicability of Break Even Analysis (BEA) is tested in this study. BEA is a financial analysis technique that allows to study the impact that technical, economic and organizational decisions may have on the financial feasibility of the project. The main methodological and operational aspects of BEA are discussed, with the application of an urban regeneration of a former brownfield site located in a city of Southern Italy being developed. The success of the experiment confirms the possibility to use BEA for the financial analysis of projects, especially in the early design stages.

Abstract: The deepening of the aging degree, the large demand make endowment real estate market contains huge potential for development. Existing endowment real estate projects have its positives in many aspects, but there are also some deficiencies. In this paper, the population aging situation in our country and the development status of endowment real estate are analyzed, and combining with the demand characteristics of elderly customers, elderly property customer satisfaction evaluation index system is established, using this system to compare and analyze the current three typical endowment real estate project, and propose the corresponding improvement suggestions in order to provide reference for the development of endowment real estate in future.

Abstract: The development of rural tourism industry puts forward higher requirements for village environment. Under the precondition of satisfying life and production requirements of villagers, the needs of tourists for accommodation, tourist shopping and entertainment should be satisfied. In order to attract more tourists, tourism type village gets better development. In this paper, take Guoliang village as an example, the existence and problems of tourism village construction are discussed, residential layout types of tourism type village such as residential, residential apartment, hotel apartment are put forward.

Abstract: From the overall urban development strategy, breaking through the traditional concept of urban tourism distribution center construction and using the new scenery spot operating model to build Zhengzhou city tourism industrial clustering region not only can make up for the citys lack of a tourism distribution center, but also is beneficial for the new districts overall development and construction in west Zhengzhou city, thus to promote the adjustment and optimization of industrial structure and spatial structure in Zhengzhou city.

Abstract: Through referring to practical projects and analyzing the component proportion ratio of project cost, this paper comes up with the idea that whole process of construction project is all around material management as the key of cost control, puts forward the measures to reduce material costs, and offers reference to cost management of construction project.
