Abstract: Buildings are one of the major infrastructure investments in cities. Sustainable preservation of building assets in order to deliver an appropriate level of service throughout their life cycle requires a comprehensive and optimised decision making methodology. This decision making method needs to be supported not only by accurate data, but also by proper manipulation and aggregation techniques to target the highest potential longevity of construction materials. Condition monitoring methods help asset managers collect required information about their buildings to make justifiable judgments for maintenance and rehabilitation strategies. This data is collected in the condition monitoring stage within a defined scope of a condition monitoring manual. The level of detail in data collection may depend on the asset management system, element hierarchy adopted by the organization and criticality of assets. While detailed condition data is collected during building condition assessments, for higher-level optimised strategic asset management overall conditions of element groups are desirable to project the capital investments and expenditures. The paper reviews condition monitoring techniques for buildings and also presents a risk-based methodology for aggregating the inspected conditions to a higher group level of inspected elements which leads to a greater accuracy of decisions to be made for strategic management of buildings.

Abstract: Development of rural community relates to the overall development of China's urbanization, and is one of the key issues to improve farmers' quality of life. This study attempts to find out problems in the new community through investigation on the new type rural communities currently, analyzes root causes of problems, different agglomeration state, traditional living habits, living factors between rural and urban, sums up full functionality mode of new rural communities, and gives the concrete proposal in community planning, public space and residential construction.

Abstract: Based on analysis of the current situation of water view residences, this paper discusses the importance of waterscape design in modern residential districts and the existing problems of current research including management and structure design of waterscape, nature ecological environment destruction, waterscape design and utilization of resources. Several proposals are put forward such as ecological, regional, integration and sustainable development, to the waterscape design to keep the sustainable development.

Abstract: The project progress control during equipment installation phase is a weak link in the whole construction process, and also the important and difficult part for supervision unit to implement the progress control. From the perspective of supervision unit, this paper analyzes the main factors affecting the progress control during equipment installation phase. Base on the analysis, some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.

Abstract: Historical building heritage in cold region owns a lot of unique trait from planning design to the construction process and the materials used, especially the design of internal and external environment of space around the building contains lots of research value. With the help of three-dimensional information technology for surveying and mapping, the deconstruction and information management application, we can effectively promote the historic conservation and reuse, and also promote the research and application of historical building site information sharing on the network platform.

Abstract: As an important component of the construction of a new socialist countryside, the rural school building is the important infrastructure of new rural cultural construction. This paper takes rural schools of Guanzhong area as research object, combining the geographical environment characteristics with social development conditions to field investigate, and analyzes rural school construction and its status in Guanzhong area. On the basis of the investigation and analysis, this paper points out the advantages and disadvantages of design and usage of the existing rural school buildings, and proposes energy-saving strategy which is suitable for rural school building.

Abstract: As the major public buildings and cultural service institutions, libraries play an important role in the strategy of energy-saving buildings. In order to keep pace with the footstep of Western developed countries, China has launched a series of green and energy-saving building practices and achieved certain results. The New Hubei Library is a successful example, with Chinese national conditions and the characteristic of the library itself taken into consideration, and limited conditions in the design process fully made the most use of. Besides the designer has efficiently used energy-saving strategy on building structure maintenance, solar radiation, air conditioning control system and natural ventilation, finally achieved the goal of energy saving of library.

Abstract: This paper, through the analysis of the construction features of civil engineering in each stage, analyzes the factors of adverse effects of construction activity on the environment; aiming at pollution sources, the specific characteristics and pollution status of construction, such as dust, noise, waste and other pollution sources, puts forward corresponding countermeasures and material methods, water conservation and green construction control to reduce the pollution of the environment; explores the effectiveness of some green construction techniques, such as plate construction method of the rebar lifting stool control plate reinforcement protective layer and thickness, and new prefabricated concrete structure, on the prevention and control of of environmental pollution from construction projects. The purpose is to find the method to maintain the construction and harmonious development of environment in the system, in order to be more active and effective implementation of environmental management of the construction of civil engineering.

Abstract: With the increasing deterioration of the resources and environment, the development status of construction industry which based on high pollution and high energy consumption need to be changed urgently. So it is imminent to develop green buildings. Aimed at the complexity and systemic of the green building development process, this paper analyses the relationship of the feedback elements at all levels. The main factors affecting the green building system are analyzed by using the basic methods of system dynamics. This paper also establishes the simulation model of Qingdao green building on the basis of system dynamics and forecasts the development trend of green building in Qingdao by simulating the model in computer.

Abstract: Conflict is an important factor influencing construction management performance. Construction project participants mutual game behavior in the conflict negotiation process is analyzed by KMRW reputation model. Establish imitator dynamic evolution model between general contractor and owner to analyze two evolutionary stable strategies, cooperation and competition in conflict management. It results that adopting cooperative strategy by every participants is the stability foundation to keep the conflict negotiation system evolve to cooperation. And discount rate, excess return, initial investment of cooperative are three major factors affecting evolution of the conflict system. Digital simulation show that initial investment has negative effect on possibility of cooperation; when discount rate is enough large, excess return has positive effect on possibility of cooperation; when discount rate isnt enough large, excess return has negative effect.
