Studies on Impact Force Caused by Sloshing of New Type Water Transporting Tank on Basis of ADINA

Article Preview

Abstract:

A new type anti-surge water transporting vehicle is designed for safety and stability of the vehicle during the driving. In order to study the safety and stability of the water transporting tank, the impact force caused by sloshing of the water transporting vehicle during normal driving, climbing and braking is analyzed respectively; Finally, a simulation test on the vehicle along a road 7000km long is carried out. The results show that the water transporting vehicle is not damaged and overturned under various kinds of worse driving conditions, such as on the road and field road, etc., thus it can meet requirements for safety and stability when driving under all kinds of road conditions.
