Research on Vegetation Restoration of Waitoushan Iron Mine Wasteland of Benxi Steel Group Corporation

Abstract:

According to the investigation on the environmental pollution and vegetation conditions of Waitoushan Iron Mine of Benxi Steel Group Corporation, this paper discusses the ecological vegetation restoration of mine, makes the plans for short-term and long-term vegetation restoration, researches on the basic principles, ways, silvicultural techniques of short-term vegetation restoration. Wherein, the stability control of mine refuse dump is the precondition of vegetation restoration, the improvement of soil matrix is foundation, and the screening of vegetation varieties is the key to the success of vegetation restoration. The theoretical basis is provided for the construction of long-term mine ecological park.
