Abstract: A path planning algorithm based on sector scanning for AUV was proposed in this paper. By reducing the frequency of the calculation of the path planning, this method solved the problem that AUV can not respond to the frequent control instructions of path planning because of AUV’s poor flexibility. Meanwhile, by making the path more clear and reliable, the algorithm improved the operability of responding to the path planning results and operating the controlling of AUV’s moving. Simulation results show that this method is feasible and efficient.

Abstract: Ankle injury is one of the most common injuries in sports or domestic related accidents. This injury can usually be treated via a number of rehabilitation exercises. However, currently rehabilitation of ankle injury directly depends of physiotherapy session administered by experts; which is tedious and expensive in nature. In this paper, we proposed a concept based on parallel mechanism to assist patients undergoing ankle rehabilitation procedures. This is due to a number of advantages of parallel mechanism as compared to serial mechanism higher payload-to-weight ratio, structure rigidity, accuracy and relatively simple solution. We reported our design process; including the concept generation and selection according to a number of relevant design parameters. After which, followed by embodiment design involving kinematic analysis of the proposed mechanism. The findings, in terms of conceptual design and kinematic analysis should be able to provide an insight for ankle rehabilitation based on suitable parallel mechanism.

Abstract: A system for monitoring the efficiency of a boiling stone rolling system for eliminating VOCs by absorption is evaluated. The VOCS concentration was 655 ppm before treatment and 42 ppm after treatment, which was a 93.6% elimination rate. Including a regenerative incinerator can improve removal efficiency to 95%. Therefore, a boiling stone rolling system can improve compliance with environmental regulations.

Abstract: During formation flying, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) may need to arrive at target ahead of schedule by hurry path. Given fixed flight high mode, hurry planning method was proposed based on Adaptive Genetic Algorithm (AGA), which makes the new path shorter by locally adjusting the default path. By full considering the risk of UAV flight, the hurry path got by AGA meets the requirements of the risk cost and time amount in advance. Simulation results show that the path gotten by AGA can better meet the requirements of the time amount in advance, and evade the threat area effectively too.

Abstract: Electrospinning is a technique that is exceptionally well-suited for reliable, cost-effective production that uses electrostatic forces to form and manipulate a jet of polymer solution to form nanosized, fibrillar polymeric materials. However, producing smooth (non-beaded) fibres with truly nanosized diameters is not an easy task and is highly influenced by polymer selection. Substantial versatility also exists in the properties and morphologies of the nanomaterials produced with this method. Knowledge of the fundamental features and current trends within the sector of electrospinning are enabling the reliable, effective production of materials that would be most suitable for a variety of applications. This article will discuss each of these issues and will demonstrate the usefulness of the electrospinning technique with a brief overview of the key applications of interest including those which have obtained commercial success. Overall, this article will demonstrate how electrospinning is a unique and effective tool that continues to develop at a rapid pace, with substantial commercial potential yet to be unlocked.

Abstract: The disclosure modes of accounting information in different countries vary in some degree because of different governance structures. In China, the stock right of the governance structure is concentrated and controlled in the hands of the managers, which makes a result of a serious state of information asymmetry. So, we should choose the disclosure mode that puts compelling disclosure first and voluntary one second in our country.

Abstract: Paper describes possibilities of automatization of risk assessment process on technological workshops from work safety and health protection point of view. Proposed computer system could unload members of reviewing team from routine and repeating activities which are applied in process of risk identification and assessment of observed workplaces. Paper characterizes possibilities of work within form for application of Complex method of risk management on workshops. Developed system represents active part of systematic approach in frame of complex risk management.

Abstract: Rotary forging process has recently been developed in which the material is deformed partially and incrementally and a deformation zone is developed and swept through the material. Since the upper die in rotary forging is always in contact with the workpiece top surface, and presses continuously the workpiece until it takes the final shape in one stroke (i.e. resembling conventional press forging), it might be more definite to name it as rotary press forging. Rotary press forging produces many defects. The author has invented a process, namely, rotary hammer forging, which reduces these defects. The aims of the present work are to introduce the rotary hammer forging process, to study the effects of the fundamental process parameters, and to find out the advantages of RHF. Special set-ups with a rotary die mounted on a lathe chuck being hammered with a pneumatic piston mounted on the lathe carriage have been used. It has been found that the specimen's geometry and the inclination angle affect the extruded length, the mushrooming effect, the eccentricity, the twisting angle, the buckling and the forming time. The defects of buckling, mushrooming, eccentricity and twisting are less severe in rotary hammer forging than rotary press forging. Hence, rotary hammer forging is more beneficial and superior than rotary press forging.

Abstract: Patient handling from hospital bed to CT scan, X-Ray centre, M R Scan, Sonography centre etc is a tedious job. Generally from bed to stretcher trolley the patient is manually transferred. Two persons lift the patient and put him on trolley stretcher. The manual handling of patient is injurious to patient as stresses are produced in the body of patient, especially in neck, backbone, limb joints etc. Also the nursing staffs who handle the patients also face health problems like shoulder, back pain. The primary objective of this device achieved is safe and efficient transfer of an injured patient to and from a hospital bed without any discomfort on account of the transfer. This is accomplished by the use of a pair of endless belts attached to rollers. The slab will travel with the movement of endless belts. A hand operated worm gearbox is used to drive the rollers. Two pairs of finite length belts are used connect slab and endless belts. This device can take a load up to 150kg smoothly which is sufficient for the weight range of obese persons.
