Abstract: Automation of the processes at the quays of the world's large container ports is one of the answers to the required ever-increasing transshipment volumes within the same timeframe. For such purpose, using new generation of vehicles is unavoidable. One of the automatic vehicles that can be used in container terminals is Automated Lifting Vehicle (ALV). Integrated scheduling of handling equipments with quay cranes can increase the efficiency of automated transport systems in container. In this paper, an integrated scheduling of quay cranes and automated lifting vehicles with limited buffer space is formulated as a mixed integer linear programming model. This model minimizes the makespan of all the loading and unloading tasks for a pre-defined set of cranes in a scheduling problem.

Abstract: This paper analyses the production line layout of the manufacturing system design to identify the key performance and to improve the production performance of a bicarbonate beverage production company by using simulation modelling approach. Due to our approach, a simulation model of the real production line layout and new improved production line layout was developed. The key performance indicators of the manufacturing system were evaluated using Arena software. The analysis of the indicator values revealed an improvement within new improved model compare to the real production line layout. The percentage errors for simulation of actual model with new improved model give an improvement percentage of 3.91% for Model A and 44.1% for Model B. All models that have been developed in this research by using the Arena software were also being validated. On the basis of these findings, factory production line layout can be simulated by using the Arena software that enhances the result for further improvement.

Abstract: Contourlet-1.3 transform has better performance in directional information representation than the original contourlet transform due to less artifacts and local frequency characteristics, and has been studied by us in retrieval systems and has been shown it is superior to contourlet ones at retrieval rate. In order to improve the retrieval rate further, a novel contourlet-1.3 transform based texture image retrieval system was proposed in this paper. In the system, sub-bands energy, standard deviation and kurtosis in contourlet domain were cascaded to form feature vectors, and the similarity measure function was Canberra distance. Experimental results show that this contourlet-1.3 transform based image retrieval system has higher retrieval rates about 7% to that of the contourlet transform with absolute mean sub-bands energy and standard deviations features under same system structure.

Abstract: In this paper, we find that factors which affect energy consumption are steel ratio coefficient and process energy consumption by analyzing energy consumption of every process in integrated steel works. On this basis we point out the main reason for the high energy consumption of iron and steel industry in China is that integrated steel works examine the production process without system energy saving ideas. Therefore we propose the countermeasures of energy saving in iron and steel industry in China in aspects of energy management and control center, iron-making system, steel-making system, steel rolling system, as well as secondary energy recovery, which is aimed at providing a way for energy saving and emissions reduction of iron and steel industry in China.

Abstract: The earthquake emergency ability of counties is directly related to the successful or not for the whole earthquake emergency response (abbr. EER) of China. Based on the field survey of EER ability of counties after Wen Chuan earthquake, this paper firstly analyzes the definition of EER ability from the two layers of the absolute and relative EER ability of counties. Then deconstructs the evaluation index system of the absolute EER ability of counties and the comprehensive assessment method of the two EER abilities. Finally, taking Sichuan province for example assesses EER ability of Sichuans counties. This method will help to quantificationally assess the EER ability of counties, which will not only strengthen their abilities, but also help the high-level government to give more scientific decision-making for the configuration of its limited EER resources.

Abstract: The key point of production smoothing in coalmine is regular continuing excavate, the gob-side entry retaining technology with coal gangue bag packing not only solve the continuing excavate problem, but also facilitate the meticulous mining. The selection of the waste filling technique and the determination of basic parameters of filling body are the keys to whether gob-side entry retaining technology success or not. Due to the thicker thickness in medium-thickness coal seam and the higher height of crossheading, it is propose that the gob-side entry retaining technology need to be improved much higher. Therefore, the determination of basic parameters of filling body is particularly important.

Abstract: This article tells us how to use Auto CAD and 3DS MAX to design the procedure of 3D animation and the computer simulation in the mineral-separation procedure of shaking-tables. It introduces the essential factors of all parts modelling, animation parameterssetting,simulated connection and design in the mineral-separation procedure of shaking-tables. We can realize the animation and simulation of the mineral-separation procedure of shaking-tables .And we introduce the applying foreground and significance of the computer simulation technique in the Mineral processing.

Abstract: Having been constructed for the last 17 years, the world-famous Three Gorges Project is expected to complete this year. The article explores the circular competence indicator of establishing industrial system based on the characteristics of ecological economy of Three Gorges Reservoir Region. And the results show that the development of Three Gorges Reservoir Region is at the initial stage of the development of circular economy. The article also constructs an early warning system for the development of circular economy so that decision-making departments can keep on track the development situations of circular economy at any time. Through constructing a reasonable operating mechanism, the development of circular economy will be the significant carrier for achieving sustainable development and enhancing the competitiveness of Three Gorges Reservoir Region. Meanwhile, we should also establish the support and protection system of the circular economy system at all posts. Developing circular economy can resolve the issues of circular system of the industry during the process of development, and achieve the virtuous circle of nature, ecology, economy and society.

Abstract: With the deepening of economic reform and the expansion of the securities market, listed companies in China are facing increasingly serious challenges. The financial forewarning research of listed companies started relatively a little late in China, although some achievements have been made in recent years, there are still many problems in comparison with foreign countries. This article analyzes the situation of financial forewarning research on listed companies home and abroad, it noted the current problems of our listed company. In order to achieve the purpose of implementing dynamic forewarning, we selected the network model of artificial neural network, mainly focusing on the problems in financial forewarning system of our listed companies, and pose empirical analysis based on the listed company data. After been proved, the model not only has good judgment on the financial situation, but also has the advantage of simplicity.

Abstract: Concrete quality depends on various stress factors. The impedance spectroscopy method, as one of the non-destructive testing method group, was used to characterize concrete specimens and track the changes in the concrete spectrum after heat stress. The temperature range was between 0°C and 1200°C. Variances in the tan δ (f) and Im Z(f) or Re Z(f) of the specimens under investigation have been observed. The specimen quality has been described by means of the loss type prevailing in the material. The results of this study are expected to provide information about the correlation between the relative permittivity and changes in the structure for heat stress samples.
