Abstract: The genomic islands (GIs) are usually the products of horizontal gene transfer (HGT) that is evolution pattern in prokaryote. Two homologous GIs (WSU1GINo and KU01GINo) containing the homologous integrase of Bacteriophage P2 were determined in Enterobacter cloacae through flanking sequence alignment of the homologous integrase. The homologous GIs were integrated into the noncoding sequence. Their common flanking sequence is 5-AAGGCTCCCTCAGGAGC-3, and their integrases share 97% similarity. About two-thirds of the nucleotide sequences between WSU1GINo and KU01GINo are highly similar. The different regions between WSU1GINo and KU01GINo mainly include hypothetical gene, Phage-related tail gene, capsid gene, and baseplate assembly gene. In conclusion, the tandem arrangement of WSU1GINo and KU01GINo will be artificially constructed because of their similar structural characteristics, and phage coat protein assembly will also be analyzed.

Abstract: In this paper, the advanced oxidation processes of photocatalytic oxidation and Photo-Fenton oxidation were used in degradation of emerging pollutants saccharin sodium. The concentration of saccharin sodium was determined by HPLC. The results showed both photocatalytic oxidation and Photo-Fenton oxidation had an effective degradation of saccharin sodium. The degradation process was followed the first-order reaction. The best conditions of photocatalytic oxidation system: 500W mercury lamp, 0.04 g TiO2, pH=7 and the best ratio of photo-Fenton was SAC:H2O2:Fe2+=5:60:1. The total organic carbon (TOC) of sample has significantly reduced to about 93% by the two systems.

Abstract: Pyromorphite was synthesized by precipitation and characterized by various techniques. The batch dissolution experiment was conducted at 25°C and different initial pHs (2, 4 and 6). The solid phase showed no obvious change before and after dissolution. The aqueous phosphate concentration decreased quickly from 0.22 to 0.01mmol/L and then increased very slowly with time. After 2160h dissolution, it reached a steady-state value of about 0.13mmol/L. The aqueous lead concentration increased initially and reached a peak value after 72h dissolution.

Abstract: Mimetite [Pb5(AsO4)3C was firstly synthesized by precipitation and characterized by various techniques, and then the batch dissolution experiment was conducted at 25°C and different initial pHs. XRD and SEM analysis indicated that the solid was indistinguishable before and after the dissolution. For the dissolution at the initial pH=2, the aqueous arsenate and lead concentration decreased firstly with time and reached a steady state after 480h. For the dissolution at the initial pH=4 and 6, the aqueous arsenate and lead concentrations varied between 0-0.0005mmol/L and 0-0.0008mmol/L, respectively.

Abstract: Red Ant is a kind of national medicinal insects with important value, and is widely used as medicine in Lijiang. Its distribution and habit in Lijiang were investigated. The results showed that the insect is distributed in all the sites investigated including all districts of Lijiang. The relatively central distribution area of the insect is in Yulong and Ninglang. The suitable living area has the annual average temperature 13 to 19, average annual rainfall 750~1 100mm, average altitude 2300m. Red Ant live in the palce where full of sunshine and organic matter, such as the valley cold water terraces, the mud field ridge and the soil of pond . Its known that Red Ant can eat more than 60 kinds of food , which accounted for more than 30 species of crop pests .Its main food is the larvae of Lepidoptera Pyralidae.

Abstract: Degradation of simulated acid scarlet (GR) wastewater by ultrasonic technology , Fenton reagentoxidation , and a combination of the two processes was studied. It was found that extent of degradation by ultrasonic technology or Fenton reagent oxidation alone was poor , with values of 4 % and 40 % respectively. The extent of degradation was significantly enhanced when the two processes were combined , with a value of up to 90 % , which shows that these two processes have a good synergistic effect and can shorten the reaction time.Also discussed the initial concentration, initial pH, Fe2+ and H2O2 dosage and other factors on the degradation of acid scarlet. The results show that the degradation rate of pH significant effect on the low pH is conducive to degradation. Degradation rate with the dosage of H2O2 and FeSO4 temperature increased, but when acid scarlet with H2O2 and Fe2+ the mass ratio of 100:15:41, the degradation rate reached 96.6%.

Abstract: Culture conditions for Rhodopseudomonas palustris RB to produce 5-Aminolevulinic Acid (ALA) was investigated. As results, the best culture conditions for accumulation ALA were 10 % inoculating concentration, light intensity 3000 Lux and its pH value was 7.0. The production of ALA can be improved by useful of resisting the activity of ALA dehydratase in the biosynthetic pathway. And the experimental results showed that Gly was the key precursor substance for ALA. Under the optimal conditions, the production of ALA by this strain was as high as 9.0 mg/L when 45 mM LA and 60 mM were implanted, which was 2 times higher than the control.
