Abstract: A new molecularly imprinted polymer, which can be used for selective adsorption of chloramphenicol (CAP) from aqueous solutions, was successfully prepared by precipitation polymerization. The adsorption kinetic curve, adsorption isotherm and selective adsorption were measured by static method. The adsorption kinetics of MIPs for CAP reached the equilibrium at about 11 hours. The maximum adsorption capacity was 43.395 mmol/g, and the MIP has much higher adsorption quantity than NIP. Competitive adsorption studies showed that MIP offers the advantages of selectivity toward CAP compared with NIP in the presence other antibiotics. The results showed that the MIP possessed good specific adsorption capacity and selectivity for CAP.

Abstract: The Radioactive waste management technology is briefly introduced in this article based on related standards, guidelines and documents from IAEA. The radioactive waste management technology (RWM) includes related international standards and conventions, predisposal radioactive waste management, RWM for radioactive waste disposal, RWM for remediation, NORM and mining/milling waste. These management methods and valuable experience have important reference value to waste classification, waste disposal and management and related work in China.

Abstract: For the problem of complicated nonlinear relationships among the parameters of heat comfort index PMV, KPCA (Kernel Principal Component Analysis) is used to do the feature extraction. On the basis, KPCA+BP and KPCA+GNN are utilized to forecast the heat comfort level. Simulation results show that KPCA can extract the nonlinear uncorrelated sample data, and KPCA+GNN are evaluated best with high accuracy.

Abstract: The importance of chemical products in todays society is known, which can increase food production, improve the quality of life and extend the lifespan. However, their dangers are also obvious. In addition, a large number of chemical accidents, that produce chemicals, continue to take place in the chemical industries in spite of the great improvement in the safety management standard of worldwide chemical industries. Such accidents are taking place not only in the developing countries, but also in developed countries, which result in a lot of property loss, death and serious environmental issues with long term negative effects. Therefore, how to live with these substances and how to handle, use and dispose them safely have attracted much attention because chemical safety and risk management of chemicals have formed an international challenge.

Abstract: This impact of heat rejection on cooling tower plume dispersion was studied in this paper by applied SACTI (Seasonal Annual Cooling Tower Impact) model. In order to analyze the impact of heat rejection (HR), we set five scenarios including observed, HR decrease 5% (HR-5) and 10% (HR-10), and increase 5% (HR+5) and 10% (HR+10). Results showed that plume length frequency, plume height frequency and plume radius frequency will present different variation trend when heat rejection increase and decrease scenarios. On the whole, the plume character parameter will decrease as heat rejection decrease, but will increase as heat rejection increasing.

Abstract: The joint toxicity of aniline, 2-methylaniline, 3-methylaniline, 4-methylaniline, 2-nitroaniline, 3-nitroaniline, 4-nitroaniline, 2-chloroaniline, 3-chloroaniline, and 4-chloroaniline on photobacterium were predicted and evaluated by using concentration addition (CA) and independent action (IA) models, and joint effect indices including toxic units, additive index, mixture toxicity index, and similarity parameter. The tested mixture presented synergism.

Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the current situation in nurses self-cognition on disaster relief in grade A class three hospitals in Jilin area. 457 Valid questionnaires of 480 objects selected with a combined group sampling and random sampling method were taken back and the withdrawing rate was 95.2%. The results showed that in grade A class three comprehensive hospitals in Jilin area, the nurses professional skills and professional technical qualities were good enough to cope with the nursing in disasters. There were statistically significant differences in the score of the knowledge on disaster relief theory and skills among different departments or different education backgrounds, suggesting that the relevant knowledge and the integrated physical, psychological and social care should be strengthened in their future training. The majority of nurses in hospitals in Jilin area showed a positive attitude to disaster relief. However, the policy makers should give appropriate preferential policies to the disaster relief work.

Abstract: Under a scenario of global climate change, the water ecosystem services of Luan River basin have attracted considerable public attention. In this paper, the term of water ecosystem services is described as Green water and blue water formed from the water cycle process to provide the conditions and utility for maintaining the structure and process of forest, grassland, wetland, lake, river ecosystem. In this study, we estimated the magnitudes and economic values of the water ecosystem services in Luan River basin. The economic value of water ecosystem services in Luan River basin was estimated to be 778.32×108 Yuan in 2000. The ratios of the economic values of water direct ecosystem services were 5.89%, and rest 94.11% of the all monetary value was water indirect ecosystem services. Among the water ecosystem services indicators we estimated, fruit, timber, fishery products, Fresh water supply, Hydropower and recreation were measured in the social economic system, about 59.81% of the monetary value of water ecosystem services is measured to reflect water resources ecological value.

Abstract: As one of major environmental endocrine disruptors (EEDs), bisphenol A (BPA) has been drawn increasingly lots of people in the world, which is also widely identified as an indispensable raw chemical in plastics production, food cans and dental composites. With increasing demand and production capacity of BPA, more BPA will enter into and contaminate the environment. So it has become a challenge that excess BPA jeopardizes the health of human being. Considering a pretty low dose of BPA existing in the environment, some advanced analysis techniques have been carried out to analysis BPA, such as HLPC, GC-MS, LC-MS. Compared with other physical and chemical treatment technology, biological treatment technology has the advantage of low cost and high efficiency.

Abstract: Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) as a commonly used plasticizer can be detected in many environmental medium. In this study oxidative damage effect on testicular germ cells and liver cells in mice induced by DBP were investigated via vitro test. Testicular germ cells and liver cells of mice were incubated with medium containing DBP in different concentrations (0μmol/L,10μmol/ L,50μmol/L,100μmol/L), after one hour thiobarbituric acid assay and xanthine oxidase assay were used to measure the levels of malondialdehyde (MDA) and the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) respectively. The results showed that the levels of MDA in testicular germ cells and liver cells increased gradually with the increase of DBP concentrations, while compared with the control group, the activities of SOD declined significantly at dosage of 50μmol/L and 100μmol/L. These results suggested that DBP could cause lipid peroxidation in testicular germ cells and liver cells of mice in vitro. Oxidative damage may be one of its toxic mechanisms. It would provide an experimental foundation for security application of DBP.
