Abstract: Virtual Power Plant (VPP) is a new entity in power systems that manages a set of various distributed energy resources (DERs). One of the functions of VPP is to determine the allocation of reserve to solve the problem of renewable generation uncertainty. In this paper, the reserve resources of VPP are classified into non-renewable distributed generation (NRDG), energy storage device (ESD), interruptible load (IL) and reserve bought from the market (RBFM). Their complementary properties should be utilized to improve the economy of reserve allocation. An optimal coordination model for risk management of NRDG configuration of VPP reserve allocation is proposed. Simulation results are presented to validate that an optimal value of NRDG configuration should exist.

Abstract: An important part of power grid voltage stability online intelligent warning system was to research into the current Energy Management System real-time power grid operation parameters and power networks offline data splicing integration, form a set of online dynamic simulation trend data, and implement preventive voltage stability calculation. A splicing model of power grid online data integration and practice was established, and a grid online data splicing method was proposed, which had been verified by actual data. The method of practical data online and offline networks data integration can significantly improve the accuracy of the simulation data.

Abstract: Micro grid operation cost is the main obstacle of restricting its commercial operation. An effective way to solve this problem is the effective evaluation and the cost reduction by the evaluation. In the micro grid operation cost evaluation, there are not only basic factors, such as the cost of distributed generation and energy storage system, the sale contract, but also the grid backup cost. The indexes about power exchange are adopted to evaluate backup power cost. The data from a smart building micro grid is used to validate the method. It can be seen that the cost of energy, time of use price, and control strategy are of great significance for the operation cost, and good control policy can make the cost of micro grid reasonable.

Abstract: With the rapid growth of hydropower in Sichuan, power structure becomes a primary issue of development of power grid. In this paper, the understandings of the connotation of coordinated development are proposed that it is of importance to rely on power exchanging using power grid platform to supplement provincial power and load characteristic. Main research contents are summed up from nine areas from the aspects of inside and outside province. And some difficulties needed to pay attention are also explained.

Abstract: As the original grid model cant meet the needs of smart grid development, a distributed grid modeling and integrated management technologies based on cloud computing are proposed in this paper. In this scheme, a multi-level integrated "model cloud" is developed with horizontal collaboration and vertical cut-through using cloud storage, cloud services, cloud computing and other related technologies. The grid models of levels of dispatching institutions are gathered, stored and managed with unified model service. The scheme can dress the issues of device naming, information sharing, model exchanging and model unifying, reduce the maintenance workload, improve the quality of the model and the degree of coordinated automation and enhance the level of dispatching and analysis of the whole power grid.

Abstract: Due to the poor openness between grid models at different levels in existing dispatching centers, theres lack of unified device naming conventions, data exchange standards and interface specifications, making it difficult to easily implement the exchange and sharing of network model parameters and data. In this article, a multi-dimensional grid model version management system is promoted based on model cloud technology with centralized and integrated deployment. Taking advantage of model cloud storage and service technology, unified maintenance and management technology, model subscribing and extracting technology as well as its releasing methods and standardized access technology, the system can construct a cloud service unified in the whole grid, covering all dispatch services with the integration of the grid model information, therefore realizing the unified management, maintenance, generation, release and subscriptions.

Abstract: In order to provide reserve power supply, consumption dispatch can be integrated into the conventional generation dispatch model. This serves as a feasible approach in connecting intermittent power sources such as hydropower into the power grid. An integrated generation-consumption dispatch model with hydropower is presented considering the consumption dispatch mode, such as consumption stimulation, interruptible load management, and price response, etc. Practical case studies show that price-responsive loads and interruptible loads tend to exert great influence on the load distribution which lead to a reallocation of generation among thermal generation units, run-of-river and storage hydropower generation units, which favours the total reservoir storage of the system so that the overall system operational economy can be improved.

Abstract: In this paper, a novel reconfiguration strategy for active distribution network considering maximum power supply capability (PSC) is proposed. Firstly, a PSC index (PSCI) is proposed to evaluate the real-time security level of distribution network. Then, a novel reconfiguration strategy is developed for enhancing the PSCI of distribution network when the PSCI is lower than a pre-defined warning value. The reconfiguration strategy can be integrated to distribution management system (DMS) as a preventive control method to prevent outages of customers, which can significantly increase the reliability of distribution network. Case studies are carried out by using a typical 33-bus distribution network, and simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed reconfiguration strategy, which has a good engineering application prospect.

Abstract: The post-evaluation of electric power construction project is an important link, which is necessary in electric grid projects cycle. An advanced method of post-evaluation is proposed by combining Rough Set (RS) theory and Grey System (GS) theory, defined as Grey Rough Set (GRS). According to post-evaluation project experiences, this paper provides the method of index screening by attribute reduction and weight decision.
