Abstract: According to generated output characteristics of run-of-river hydropower station in electricity market environment,a comprehensive model for monthly prediction of energy output based on Partial Least-Square (PLS) and improved Grey Model (GM) is established.The PLS model takes full advantage of the relationship between monthly energy output and its correlation affecting factors,and then using improved grey model to forecast its main factors to get final predictive results further.The comprehensive model not only can effectively use the limited sample,but also can weaken the random impact.The actual prediction results shows that the effect is better than common methods.

Abstract: This paper describes the concept and classification of demand response as well as the application status of demand response at home and abroad, designs the overall technical architecture of demand response system, and takes direct load control as an example, then design the entire business process, the internal and external information flow of direct load control based Demand Response system. The research results of this paper will provide China useful references for the future development of demand response management system with independent intellectual property rights.

Abstract: A 215MW cogeneration B&W670/13.7-M type high-pressure natural circulation boilers, the exhaust gas temperature is set as 143 °C, while in the actual operation, the average exhaust gas temperature is 155 °C, and when the unit is running at full capacity in summer the highest exhaust gas temperature is 169.6 °C. In order to satisfy the normal operating temperature of bag filter in summer peak load, and recover low temperature waste heat of fule gas, low temperature economizer is added to the thermal system. Therefore, low-temperature economizers are respectively added in four flues which are between the outlet of the air preheater and the entrance of the bag filter, this will achieve the purpose of reducing flue gas temperature by transferring heat between condensate and flue gas, ensuring the units safe operating and improving the overall operating performance of the boiler.

Abstract: Electric power industry is of great potential on energy saving and emission reduction. Remote monitoring and analyzing on the energy consumption of coal-fired units is important methods and basis for energy saving. The system was developed a data acquisition smart device to acquire the energy consumption parameters, designed the cogeneration units "exceed power" algorithm and the energy consumption general model. The system satisfies the industrial requirements of accurate and reliable data transfer and storage and effectively enhances the rapid modeling capabilities, so as to provide technical support for the energy saving and emission reduction works.

Abstract: Nuclear plants are facing more and more peaking pressure, and combined operation with compressed air energy storage (CAES) systems is an effective approach to improve its peaking capacity. This work first simulates and conducts the exergy analysis for the CAES system. The results show that exergy efficiency of the CAES system is about 51.7%, as well as the exergy loss are primary in the fuel combustion and compressed air cooling processes, accounted for 25.4% and 11.3% of total exergy, respectively. Subsequently, three combined operation modes between CAES system and nuclear power plants for power grid peaking are investigated, which shows that three section tracking mode and incomplete tracking mode can achieve the balance between peaking effects and peaking cost.

Abstract: In this paper, the principle of solar assisted heat pump and ground source heat pump was introduced, the comprehensive utilization of solar assisted heat pump and ground source heat pump was discussed in severe cold region, the article illustrated the advantages and matters of the system to which need pay attention, and pointed out that the comprehensive utilization of the combination solar assisted heat pump and ground source heat pump had a substantial economic and environmental benefits in severe cold region.

Abstract: Vehicle exhaust waste heat utilization can improve automotive vehicle fuel efficiency to optimize energy use and reduce CO2 greenhouse gas emissions to protect the environment. This paper introduces several methods of using engine waste heat, mainly on the Semiconductor thermoelectric power generation technology and the Organic Rankine Cycle power generation technology, and in-depth study on their system structure, principles and key technologies respectively and get important conclusions.

Abstract: The intermittency and volatility of wind power has brought adverse effects on the large-scale wind power integration. The hybrid energy storage system coordinated with wind farms has been set up in order to reduce the volatility of output power of wind farms strongly. The allocation plan between high-frequency and low-frequency wind power can be determined with low-pass filter method in order to determine the restraining target of different energy storage devices. According to the capacity and the state of charge of the batteries and super capacitor, the power reference values can be corrected with fuzzy adaptive control method and exceeded power deviation of the target would be allocated between the two kinds of energy storage devices. The reasonableness of the proposed models is verified by case study results.

Abstract: Radiation capillary used as air conditioning terminal lower the demand of heating water temperature. In additional, solar collectors could also supply amount of low grade energy for heating. Meanwhile, solar is a kind of renewable, sustainable and environment friendly energy. It will save a massive of conventional energy if make full use of solar for heating. In this paper, an experimental system made of solar collector, capillary network and pump was built up and tested. According to thermal load of experimental room, both solar collector area and capillary network area are calculated, and circulating water temperature was analyzed in detail. A summary is given about characteristics of heat storage and release of solar collector, indoor air temperature varying and amount of energy saving. The key factors affect efficiency of collector includes water volume, water temperature in tanker and indoor air temperature. The results show that the solar system can well meet the heating demand and the effect of energy saving is very significant compared to common heating system.
