Abstract: Finger joint angle pattern recognition is significant for the development of an intelligent bionic hand. It makes the intelligent prosthesis understand the users intension more accurately and complete movements better. Surface electromyography signals have been widely used in intelligent bionics prosthesis research and rehabilitation medicine due to its advantages like high efficiency, convenient collection and non-invasive access. An improved grid-search method using a support vector machine has been proposed for the finger joint angle pattern recognition issue in surface electromyography signals. Pattern recognition for surface electromyography signals of index finger movement and metacarpophalangeal joint angle has been performed. Better classification performance was achieved through screening of feature vector combined with an improved grid-search support vector machine classification algorithm.

Abstract: In the present study, the patterns of phase synchronization in an acupuncturing task were investigated. Neiguan (PC6) and Shenmen (HT7) are the main acupoints, they are both the main points for heart diseases and insomnia, epilepsy, mental disorder. The task was divided up into the following parts, the resting condition; needling sensation; needling with power on for 20 minutes; needling retaining and needling extraction. The index of phase synchronization in different parts was calculated and compared. Phase synchronization was increased in alpha band in many cognitive, attention tasks. These findings suggest that the transient network of coupled cortical regions maybe mediated through neural synchronization. The result in this paper shows that during electro-acupuncture about 15 minutes, the index between the available electrodes in the hindbrain, especially after electrode CP6, and all the available electrodes in the brain increased. That means phase synchronization increased between the hindbrain regions and whole brain during the electrical-acupuncture about 15 minutes. It could be an evidence of regulating both the peripheral nervous system and central nervous system with stimulating these two points.

Abstract: The paper proposes a fuzzy passivity non-fragile control approach for flexible joint robot. The T-S fuzzy model is applied to approximate the flexible joint robot at first, and then the fuzzy controller is developed based on parallel distributed compensation principle. The passivity non-fragile performance of controller is also employed to limit the influence of model error. The conditions for the stability of the flexible joint robot control system are proposed by using Lyapunov function, and linear matrix inequality is applied to resolve the controller parameter. The simulation experiment results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract: To improve the safe operation level of nuclear power plants, the design principle and overall architecture of safety monitoring system for nuclear power generation were proposed from the aspect of technology development and wide area security. The constitution, monitoring scope and main functions including image surveillance, alarm, data storage and processing, security protection and network management etc., were designed. The key technologies involved, such as image recognition, data compression, remote transmission and monitoring and so on, were analyzed. The target technical indicators were put forward.

Abstract: This paper presents an algorithm for blind and visually impaired people to track their location. A precise positioning system utilizes UWB RFID tags for localization to mark points of interest. Given the joint estimation of TOA and DOA from blind person to station, a robust algorithm based on the extended filter is presented to accurately estimate their current location and moving velocity. This method is effective to the no-Gaussian or biased system model with unknown or not fully known observation error statistics.

Abstract: In order to solve problems that deal with rhumb lines solution based on different reference ellipsoids in maritime navigation, the rhumb lines basic equations were established. After the symbolical formula of meridian arcs inverse solution being introduced, rhumb lines forward and inverse expressions which are non-iterative were derived. Finally, numerical examples were given to testify the accuracy of the forward and inverse expansions derived in this paper. Theory analysis and numerical results show that these new formulas have compact and symbolical form, and the precision of the inverse formulas is up to , which can satisfy practical utilization.

Abstract: Under the influence of the global climate change and the increasingly intensified major meteorological disasters in recent years, aquaculture has a stronger demand for meteorological information service. Various meteorological disasters (typhoon, storm, flood, low temperature, etc.) will change the environment of water aquaculture and cause great economic losses to aquaculture. With aquaculture in Zhanjiang of China as the research subject, a meteorological information system has been designed to serve aquaculture. The B/S-based three-layer structure was chosen based on the MS.NET development platform. SQLServer2005 was chosen as the database server and SuperMap IS.NET as the map server. By the use of GIS spatial analysis and thematic map, this system developed the functions of disastrous weather forecast, warning and management and realizes the statistics and analysis of different meteorological disasters. The system provides the users with the personalized suggestions on disaster prevention and mitigation. At present, this system has been put into use. The results show that it can provide the convenient and effective meteorological information service for the users.

Abstract: Because of a big amount of m-learning resources, the thesis puts forward the technique of learning resources integration based on granular computing. Then introducing personalized concept into the system, the paper puts forward a personalized layer retrieval method based on users interest. Users information retrieval is opposed to ant colonys foraging action. One-time scanning process of each node of the website is opposed to once ant colonys foraging action period. According to users scanning log information, users interest mode can be dynamically identified. This method is easy to realize and can capture the short-term and long-term changes of users interest quickly and accurately.

Abstract: An improved correlation matching algorithm is proposed in order to overcome some shortcomings of detecting the position of object accurately. A tracking algorithm with normalized cross correlation is introduced. In order to enhance the match speed, we have adopted pyramid search algorithm. The experimental results show that the algorithm has characteristics including automatic recognition of the object; permitting tracking and prediction when the object become shaded; the algorithm makes adaptive decision of varied object during the process of tracking.
