Abstract: The atrium roof system of shared space concerning large public buildingsis studied in this paper. The steel truss roof is wrapped with glass curtain wall which is relatively flexible and it is connected to the tower which is relatively rigid. Different separate means of the atrium roof as well as different connection modes between atrium roof and tower have great effect on mechanical performance of the whole structure. By comprehensive comparing various schemes of atrium roof and connection modes with tower, the internal force, displacement, modal as well as other parameters of roof and tower have been studied. The optimal connection scheme is also determined, which has good reference value for practical projects.

Abstract: The paper presents the analysis of the dynamic response of a steel pipeline with concrete coating to a real earthquakeregistered in central Poland in 2012. The peak ground acceleration of the shock was scaled up to maximal values predicted for this seismic zone. To represent theinelastic behavior of the material of the concrete coating under dynamic loading, the concrete damaged plasticity constitutive model was assumed. The modelallows to describeplastic strains and irreversible tensile and compression damage that occurs during the cracking process. For seismic analysis two models (uniform and non-uniform) of kinematic excitation were applied. In the modelof uniform excitation it was assumed that the motion of all supports was identical. Inthe model of non-uniform excitation, typical for long structures, the wave passage along the pipelinewith different velocities (500, 400 and 300 m/s) was taken into account. It occurred that for the model of uniform excitation the concrete material of the coating remained elastic with no tensile damage. For the model of non-uniform excitation, inelastic behaviour of the coating was observed. The plastic strain areas appeared above all supports. The tensile damage (cracking) wasalso noticed in these areas: the lower wave velocity was assumed, the greater area of concrete coating was affected by plastic strains and tensile damage (cracking). It was the consequence of the quasi-static effects which resulted from ground deformations imposed on the pipeline during the seismic shock.

Abstract: Concrete-filled-tube (CFT) is steel-concrete composite structure what has the advantage of ductility and high compression. The Steel tube confine the concrete in high compression load and the concrete reduce the local buckling of the tube wall. However, A CFT model is complicated to propose on account of the behavior of the beam-column connection. This paper is mainly performed to investigate connection of bolt that is described on the basis of CFT. The RCFT design is found to derive equation for calculating the yield strength, shear stiffness, and the ultimate shear strength for the composite panel zone. In addition, step-by-step process for connection design will be described in this paper. Finally, RCFT design is applied to the connection of bolt suggested in this study.

Abstract: Combining with its auto-correlation function, the stochastic process of water flows fluctuating pressure is decomposed on the trigonometric bases by employing an expansion method based on normalized orthogonal bases which is prescribed, and thus establish an incentive model for the random dynamic response analysis of structures vibrated by water flows fluctuating pressure. By using the model, main probabilistic characters of the flows stochastic process are captured with only a few random variables, and therefore laid the foundation for further random response and reliability analysis from the point of probability density evolution. By using it in an instance, the validity of the model is tested from the aspect of second order statistics such as sampling ensemble power spectrum and sample mean square error. The effects of simulation duration and expansion numbers needed on the simulations efficiency and accuracy are also discussed.

Abstract: Model selection is carried out structural analysis Transmission Tower one of the priorities. Through the establishment of traditional beams - truss hybrid model, improved beam - beam hybrid model and frame model, a modeling analysis of angle steel tower cathead. First on the transmission tower modal analysis, and then the common wind conditions and ice conditions of the maximum stress and maximum displacement results are discussed, and then local analysis. Identify similarities and differences between the three models, discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the model to meet the design requirements of the situation and the results can be obtained more reasonable feasibility.

Abstract: In order to reduce the damage caused by conductor galloping, this paper developed a new type of phase to-phase spacer, called shape memory alloy of phase to-phase spacer. Hanging the sensor on the transmission line fixed with new type of phase to-phase spacer and the ordinary phase to-phase spacer respectively, use the sensor to measure the amplitude of the two types of phase to-phase spacer, comparing and analysing the two types of phase to-phase spacer. Through the analysis of the data, we can draw a conclusion that the new type of phase to-phase spacer has a better damping effect than the ordinary phase to-phase spacer, it can reduce the damage caused by conductor galloping more effectively, this research is the first in the domestic.

Abstract: This paper proposed a method of dynamic stability analysis for the tower structure of construction elevators based on dynamic eigenvalue method. The method employed the time frozen formulation to model the problem, and the stress field from transient analysis was utilized to simulate the pre-stress effect of buckling analysis. The proposed method was applied to estimate the dynamic stability of the tower structure of construction elevators under moving loads, and the results suggest that high coefficients of lateral load and inclined tower structure will dramatically reduce the stability of the elevator in the construction process.

Abstract: The paper is dealing with the effects of flat high-speed water jet on concretes affected by high temperature. Research should help to correct use of water jet technology in repair works on concrete structures especially after wildfires in tunnels, underground garages, etc., which are exposed to enormous thermal stress.
