Abstract: This paper takes the monitoring data sample from the top of fractionation tower system of one petrochemical company and uses prediction model which is constructed by BP neural network to study the corrosion prediction of catalytic fractionation tower top system. It uses min-max and z-score standardized method to deal with the original data and compare the impacts. The result shows that the BP neural constructing prediction model can provide basis of corrosion control for refinery. It also shows that better accuracy can be achieved by using min-max standardized method and when the number of training data quantity is over 20, the prediction result is more accurate and stable.

Abstract: From the status and future of international terrorism, this paper points out that Chemical, Biological and Radiological (CBR) terrorism attacks have posed severe threat to building environment security. This paper pointed the emergency disposal approaches when public buildings with central air-conditioning were attacked by CBR terrorism. The air-conditioning systems, air volume, air pressure adjustment, the choice of fans and duct size have been discussed. Furthermore, how to use the fire smoke control system to ensure building environment security and the corresponding countermeasures has been analysis.

Abstract: Deem test results from the low reversed cyclic loading quasi-static test with 2 RC columns as the basic information of secant stiffness damage of the reference column and take use of the TMS instrument in the test to artificially make the damage percentage of secant stiffness of the RC column as 33%, 50% and 66%, 6 damaged columns in total; reinforce the 6 damaged columns and 2 undamaged ones under the same conditions with AFL, through quasi-static contrast test. Test results show that it is able to effectively boost horizontal ultimate bearing capacity and ductility deformability of the RC columns with AFL for reinforcement; besides, there is a linear function relationship between horizontal ultimate bearing capacity, target ductility factor, and damage percentage of secant stiffness.

Abstract: Select CA-0-J-1 of RC column reinforced by AFL, and un-reinforced CA-0-1 of RC column, respectively perform the low reversed cyclic loading quasi-static contrast test; collate data of experimental results about these two columns, analyze the changes such as fracture morphology, bearing capacity, secant stiffness and energy-dissipating capacity damage of RC columns before and after reinforcement, adopt calculation and Origin software to fit mathematical equations and work out functional relationships between secant stiffness and lateral rate, as well as between energy-dissipating capacity and lateral displacement rate.

Abstract: This paper analyzed and summarized the formulas about the calculations of the corrugated steel web plate buckling, and based on a certain bridge as the engineering background, and the author calculated the related formulas of web buckling load and made comparative analysis. The result showed that the corrugated steel web related buckling should occur at the earliest.

Abstract: As an important transportation infrastructure, some through and half through arch bridges were collapsed at home and abroad. And most accidents were caused by the damage of suspenders. From the structural features, through and half through arch bridges were composed of two parts-upper and lower structure. The upper part of the structure was mainly composed of arch rib, suspender, tie bar, carriageway beam and bridge deck system etc. Research at home and abroad on through and half through arch bridges mainly include: seismic performance, stability, wind vibration, construction, maintenance, suspender tension test, damage identification of the bridges, and so on.

Abstract: This paper summarizes the basic design of reinforced concrete segment for cross river shield tunnel in gas pipeline project, meanwhile discusses its assembly style and water-proof technique. One loop of shield tunnel is divided into six pieces of precast reinforced concrete segment which is assembled with screw bolt and stud. In addition, Waterproof technique such as self-waterproof of segment, elastic rubber gasket and water swelling rubber strip is used to ensure waterproof performance of shield tunnel. The presentation of this paper may provide guidance for the design of reinforced concrete segment for cross river shield tunnel.

Abstract: 3D finite element analysis is utilized to calculate stress and internal forces in three different lengths of reinforced concrete segment for oil and gas shield tunnel subject to water and earth pressure by means of load-structure model. The rational length of concrete segment is determined to be 1.2m long after comparing the calculated stress and internal force in concrete segment with length of 1.0m, 1.2m and 1.5m respectively. Meanwhile, the safety factor is also compared in order to determine the rational length of concrete segment. The analysis shows that segment length for oil and gas shield tunnel with small cross-section should be less than 1.2m so as to facilitate its transportation and erection on construction site.

Abstract: In order to avoid maritime accidents resulted from the consciousness decrease of the Officer Of Watch ( OOW) or the OOWs failure to perform duties,a Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System ( BNWAS) based on SIEMENS S7-200 PLC is designed. The system monitors bridge activity and detect operator disability which could lead to marine accidents. If for any reason the OOW becomes incapable of performing the OOWs duties, the system can alert the Master or another qualified OOW automatically by a series of indications and alarms. This system meets the requirements of IMO (International Maritime Organization) and can be used in any kind of ship.

Abstract: China has been going through urbanization, and foreign experiences show that urbanization would finally lead to integrated planning and development of region. In regional planning, traffic network is an important aspect, which affects the impact of cities. However, in traditional accessibility analysis, only traffic lines are taken into consideration, while the influence of stations is ignored. This lead to the actual problems that traffic facilities cannot play the roles designed in regional planning when they are really constructed. Therefore, firstly, two rank traffic networks system are proposed, and different traffic networks with the normalization costs are combined to analyse the accessibility of the cities. Secondly, a new accessibility analysis method to get arrival domain for a city is proposed, which take not only the traffic lines but the traffic stations into consideration. Finally, the Jing-Jin-Ji Region is taken as an instance to show the effect of the new method.
