Abstract: Through brief analysis of characteristics of conventional control, a new type of multi-mode intelligent control algorithm based on error information is put forward. The algorithm consists of proportional acceleration control for rapidity of transient response, differential deceleration control for stationarity of transient response and steady state excitation control for accuracy of steady response. The control algorithm is applied to time-delay process, compared with other algorithms. Simulation results show its good performance with MATLAB language. The algorithm has simple structure, good generality and easy adjustment.

Abstract: This study presents a remote household control system based on Internet. In this system, the home appliance equipments are controlled by single chip microcomputer (SCM) and communicated with Ethernet using network controller chip RTL8019AS. SCM interact information with the remote computer and remote terminal can realize monitoring system of the household through the Internet. The system has a strong agility and convenience.

Abstract: Based on the finite element model of the tunnel, dynamic response of tunnel is studied influenced by different confining pressure and different surrounding rock types under of blasting vibration under blast vibration load. The results show that when the confining pressure increases, the maximum horizontal and vertical vibration velocity, stress and displacement increase, and the horizontal vibration amplitudes are less than the vertical vibration amplitudes. With the decreasing of the rock type, the vertical vibration velocity peak value increases, and vertical direction vibration velocity is more sensitive for the rock stress state. With the increase of depth of surrounding rock, the confining pressure increases, and the vertical velocity response signal of surrounding rock increases, and the response signal is more sensitive to the change of stress of surrounding rock compared with the horizontal vibration velocity peak.

Abstract: This paper describes a control unit for a solar-hydrogen power generation system that is capable of supplying an electrical load simultaneously with diverting excess power to an electrolyser to produce hydrogen gas for storage as backup energy. The functional requirements of such a control unit are defined. The transient response time for the PEM electrolyser is studied and analyzed through experimental testing. A design of load splitting device that also performs maximum power point tracking is proposed and its performance measured experimentally. Initial results suggest that the device can accomplish both the load splitting and maximum power point tracking functions satisfactorily.

Abstract: The underground oil tanks are usually ellipsoid shaped and horizontal placed, in order to inspect the underground oil tanks using MFL method, a magnetization structure contains three sub parts was designed for curvature plates, the impact by the uneven placement sensors was analyzed, a new channel independent calibration method was raised. The calibration method, as well as the digital signal processing method was programmed in the inspection software, then a motor drive walking device was designed, at last the inspection device was established. Through comparison of channel independent and identical calibration methods, the experiment result using channel independent calibration method has better precision of about 1/3 discovery rate.

Abstract: This paper introduces a design of an interactive machine named Chaos Phenomenon Exhibition System (CPES). The CPES is a mechatronics system that consists of 180 independent modules, and each of them is a 2-Degree Of Freedom (DOF) machine which can realize forward and backward stretch on the horizontal plane, and clockwise and counterclockwise rotation synchronously. With the help of some sensors, the CPES can exhibit the effect of chaotic changes via the movements of the 180 modules. In this paper, the hardware (includes the mechanical structure and the electrical system) designs were introduced firstly. Subsequently, an algorithm was proposed to control the modules movement for exhibition of the chaos phenomenon. Finally, some improvements were conducted based on system simulation and field debugging. The CPES has been exhibited in a science museum in China and it is admired by lots of audiences.

Abstract: This paper presents the dynamic modeling of a new variant of helical planetary gear proposed by the authors, generated by the Vaucanson`s planetary mechanism. This model can be apply successfully helping a robotic arm in motion. It is considered that the gear made connects between a motor and a pump, whose mechanical properties are known. Using Matlab-Simulink is setting the equations of motion and dynamic response, both in premise neglect friction and the premise of considering friction.

Abstract: Based on modular design rules proposed by IBM, modular design process was planned, which included product overall structure analysis and interface standardized design. Based on module partition, undirected graph was used to represent the relationship between the modules and the product's overall structure. By analyzing the interaction between modules deeply, the structure, dimension and parameter of the interface were standardized in order to determine the standard interface of each module. Brittle materials processing equipment was used to demonstrate the modular design process.
