Study on Classification of Rock Pile

Article Preview

Abstract:

Rock pile is a typical kind of adverse engineering geologic phenomenon in mountainous engineering construction. In this paper, according to the main factors influencing the engineering properties of rock pile, the classification of the rock pile are studied. Based on the physico- mechanical properties of rock pile, the multi-hierarchy classification method is proposed. The suitability of the process is verified by classifying the typical rock pile on the Shui-ma(from Shuifu to Maliu Bay) expressway. The relevant results can provide reference to other classification study of rock pile.
