Abstract: Eco-industrial park is the carrier of circular economy in industrial zone. A lot of the theory and practice of eco-industrial park to carry out in China. The methods and representations, showing systematically the environmental benefit through ecologically construction of Eco-industrial park, are the important parts of the Eco-industrial park administration system. Environmental performance evaluation could systematically manifest the whole configuration of construction of Eco-industrial park, from different points of view from park administrators, enterprises, and publics. This paper discussed the significance of environmental performance evaluation for Eco-industrial park in China, introduced the current application status and development trend of environmental performance evaluation in the administration of Eco-industrial park in China.

Abstract: We used gas chromatography mass spectrometry to analyze characteristics of air pollution caused by MTBE in Beijing. The results showed that the atmospheric concentration of MTBE divided by function was: cultural tourism zone > industrial zone > commercial and residential zone > background point. Divided by time, in general, evening (17:00-19:00) > midnight (23:00-24:00) > noon (11:00-13:00); divided according to the day, in general, weekend > workday, but industrial zone is contrary. Traffic volume and traffic conditions are important factors in Beijing’s air pollution of MTBE. Production processes and environmentally friendly measures of industrial zone will also have some impacts on it. In the evening (17:00-19:00) and at weekend, concentration of MTBE in the atmosphere was comparably large.

Abstract: From January 2012 to April 2013, the heavy metal contents of Venerupis variegata which was used as bio-indicator were determined by using incomplete digestion - AAS method. The correlation of the heavy metals between the surface sediments and the Venerupis variegata was analyzed by using Pearson method and Markov chain model. The potential ecological risk of heavy metal pollution was evaluated in the Yalu River estuary. The results showed that the recovery rate was from 94.3 to 107.2%, RSD<4.3% and the correlation coefficients of Cd, Pb and Cr were 0.9175, 0.8911, 0.8146, when the samples were digested with the mixed acid at 90 - 120°C

Abstract: Investigate Five Estrogenic compounds (E1, E2, E3, EE2, and BPA) in the rivers around the northern Taihu Lake to realize their distributions in different regions. The results show the median concentrations of four estrogenic compounds range from 1.96 to 143.29ng/L, with the detection proportions ranging from 12.5% to 100%, respectively. The concentrations of estrogenic compounds in waters reveal regular changes with seasons, higher contents in winter. Besides, considerable variations spatially are observed in the different rivers. Levels of estrogenic compounds in rivers of Yixing City are higher than those of Suzhou City and Wuxi City. Using the calculation of risk quotient (RQ) assessed the risk. The RQ values of E1, E2, E3 and BPA are 0.02~1.87, 1.28~23.22, 0.01~0.80 and 0.03~0.44 respectively, which indicate that harmful ecological effects might happen in some rivers.

Abstract: The tertiary industry in Beijing has won rapid development. In 2010, GDP proportion of the tertiary industry has reached 75%, while the energy consumption of the tertiary industry accounted for 55.4% of the total consumption in Beijing. With the economy development of Beijing, the GDP proportion of the tertiary industry will increase further, thus, the energy saving of the tertiary industry is rather imperative. Based on the corresponding data of economy and energy consumption of Beijing from 2005 to 2010, in this study the system dynamics model was proposed to analyze and predict the energy consumption of the tertiary industry of Beijing in 2015.

Abstract: A life cycle assessment (LCA) framework using fuzzy mathematics was developed to evaluate the environmental impact of bridges. The bridge life was divided into 5 stages: bridge design, raw materials processing, construction, operation, and demolition. An evaluation index system was established by analyzing the environmental impact of a bridge. Bridge life-cycle environmental impact was categorized into 5 grades: great negative influence, little negative influence, no influence, little positive influence, and great positive influence. Based on the improved AHP method, a fuzzy method was introduced to evaluate comprehensive environmental impact of bridges. The Highway Yangtze River Bridge in TaiZhou City in JiangSu Province was analyzed as a representative case study. Results show that major environmental impact appears during raw materials processing and construction. The method can be used to assess the life-cycle environmental impact of construction projects and help the stakeholders make decisions.

Abstract: A liquid chromatographic-tandem mass spectrometric (LC-MS/MS) method for the simultaneous quantification and identification of dimethomorph and tebuconazole in soil has been developed and validated. The samples were pre-concentrated and purified using QuEChERS method extraction, which provided satisfactory results. The separation was performed on a Waters ACQUITY UPLC C18 column with a linear gradient of acetonitrile - water containing 5 mM ammonium acetate. The optimised method offered a good linear correlation (r2 > 0.99), excellent precision (RSD < 4.0%) and preferable recovery (from 82% to 102%). The limits of detection (LOD) of dimethomorph and tebuconazole were 0.004mg/kg and 0.003 mg/kg, respectively. The validated method was successfully applied to the rapid screening for the two pesticides in soil..

Abstract: The diversity and abundance of ammonia-oxidizing bacteria was investigated in three different types of horizontal subsurface flow constructed wetlands, reed (Phragmites australis)/gravel bed (W1), hybrid vegetation {reed, cattail (Typha latifolia), bulrush (Scirpus validus)}/gravel bed (W2) and reed/hybrid substrates bed (gravel, zeolite, slag) (W3). The investigation of community structures of ammonia-oxidizing bacteria revealed that the types of macrophytes , substrate and space distributions had significant influence on the microbial community. The ammonia-oxidizing bacteria detected were all inculturable, and belonged to Nitrosomonas spp.

Abstract: It is a new trend to control landslide by using anti-sliding composite structure of micro-piles combined with other engineering measures. At present, it is extensively applied to engineering practice for convenient construction, low cost, grouting pressure enhances the stability of landslide strikingly etc. Based on the analysis of the mechanism anti-sliding of micro-pile, characteristics of micro-piles under horizontal supporting force are studied by modest test. Finally, checking the sheer stability of micro-pile and combining with engineering example proves the feasibility and reliability of micro-pile on landslide control.

Abstract: Based on the environmental standard and environmental quality risk assessment criteria for soil of China, the pollution level and assessment of chromium in agricultural soil samples around chromate plant were analyzed. The 176 agricultural soil samples were collected according to radial distribution method near chromium slag disposal site and a radius of 150m in 11 areas at 10cm interval from the surface layer to the underground 150cm vertically on each monitoring point. The results showed that the concentration of Cr (VI) and total chromium decreased with the increase of the chromium slag disposal site distance. The content of Cr (VI) in the soil near pile of chromium slag was significantly higher than the background value and the surface soil Cr (VI) content is up to 30.54 mg/kg that the pollution index was 5.7. The content of Cr (VI) decrease with increase of the soil depth. The total chromium pollution index in surface soil near Chromium slag heap is highest for 4.61. The Cr (VI) content in soil is less than the standard value proposed by Environmental quality risk assessment criteria for soil at manufacturing facilities.
