The Optimization of Suspension's Bushing Mounting Direction

Article Preview

Abstract:

Based on the software of ADAMS and iSIGHT, this paper presents a method and process which can optimize the bushing mounting direction, and also makes the characteristics of suspension compliance meet specific requirements by adjusting the bushing mounting direction. Simultaneously, this paper uses the McPherson suspension of a vehicle as an example to verify the validity of this optimization method by comparing the results before and after optimization.
