Abstract:
The concept of worm transmission with inconstant addendum is presented in this paper. Compared with the ordinarily cylindrical worm transmission, the contact area is increased dramatically. With these advantages, it is hopeful to substitute the Double Envelope Hourgrass worm gear transmission.
