Abstract:

The present paper presents a capability study of a gluing process. It becomes more and more important that a company provides some studies in order to gain the trust of the client. The quality improvement is done nowadays by reducing the variation of the process. It is more important to produce between some values, generic called as specification limits, than to produce parts only according to the specifications. The aim of the study is to detect if the process is reliable or not and if the machine shall produce or not. There were analyzed the normality of the process and then the process capability. Due to the fact that the process was inadequate, some measures were taken immediately in order to improve the process.
